[Coworking] Hello from Prescott, Arizona

2017-06-15 Thread WingSpace - Melanie Banayat
In the process of opening the first coworking space in Prescott, AZ. We're
a struggling rural city with a population of 40,000 (80,000 if we include
the adjoining city). I looks like we will be getting a 10,000 sq ft space
donated to the project, which will be shared with a business incubator. We
are partnering with our local chapter of SCORE to apply for a $500,000
grant for seed money. I have a lot of questions so I will be spending
plenty of time checking out the posts. Glad to be here!

Ehrmegerd Angel thank you for being your incredible self and for reviving
this conversation. I love it!

(PS - hi everyone!! So sorry I've been pretty much MIA on the group of
late. Two kids later I'm still here and loving life, I'm just a little less
awesome at participating in our amazing global coworking scene. Office
Nomads turns 10 this year and I couldn't be more excited about the next 10
years to come. Xoxo!)

And now I'm reviving this one. 5 years ago we had a good idea in LA but we
forgot to teach people how to tell their stories, specifically the story
that becomes the bedrock of every new
community.
