[Coworking] Re: Attn: Small CW spaces-- how fast is your internet?
Hey AK, Internet is one of those things that you want to have better than most but you don't need to go overboard. 24 down does seem slow for today's expectations. It would likely feel slow when you have six people on it or when people do video calls. I would recommend you go up to the 75 plan. Another thing to look into is your router and access points. This are on off upgrades that can make the experience a lot smoother. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Coworking" group. [Coworking] Re: Getting Rooms Booked
Peerspace is a great option - particularly if you have a community manager or staff person who has time to respond quickly to inquiries. I also recommend doing some generic google searches to see which websites come up first for your city & the type of space you have. So for example you can search "boardroom + city name" or "meeting space + neighborhood". In Austin, peerspace is usually one of the top 2-3 listings, along with Liquidspace. But in other cities, it might be Yelp, or Craigslist, etc. Seeing which platforms get the highest results can help to figure out where to put your energy (and ad money if that is an option). And keep in mind, both Liquidspace and peerspace give higher performing spaces more SEO weight, so the other thing is to make sure you get good reviews. Another option is to send share your meeting room details with local meeting professional associations, or office manager groups. If you let them know what is available the next time they have to plan an offsite, it makes their job easier. And if you know an office manager, maybe come have them tour the space and find out what they like / don't like about your available rooms. Sometimes a small price change or adding a white board can make a room much more appealing to potential bookers. Re: [Coworking] Re: Coworking for Therapists/Counselors
This is a great idea. I am learning more on this as I would want to embark on this layout in a new workspace that I am about to establish. Good thinking. [Coworking] Do you require Hot Desk users to schedule or walk-in?
Wondering. Since we have limited space that we want to get maximum use out of, should we require our "hot desk" users to pre-schedule or at least call? I hate to turn people away, but feel in order to accommodate, people should plan. We are a small space owner and may not even open if people are not using it for the day. Feedback welcome. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Coworking" group.
