Re: [Coworking] longest lease for coworking place?

2017-05-01 Thread Ivan Pope
Sorry to send this to the whole list but I can't find any source of info.
How do I unsubscribe from this list? (It should really be on the end of
each posting)

Re: [Coworking] Re: Room to Think closes

2013-08-03 Thread Ivan Pope
Maybe it's just the name. Room to Think sounds like a workshopping or
meeting event, not a working space. I mean, it's a great name, but maybe
sends the wrong message?

Re: [Coworking] artist coworking spaces

2013-07-11 Thread Ivan Pope
I thought artists were the original co-workers - they just call them
studios. That said, studio space that is shared with large communal working
spaces are not so common. We are working towards maker/designer co-working
spaces.

Re: [Coworking] Coworking is not a "Cyber Café" (Zoning Absurdities)

2013-03-06 Thread Ivan Pope
I would be very wary of believing that the original information is true. As
someone said - first they would have to define a 'cyber cafe'. Second, they
would have to have a reason to 'ban' them. But why? Are they banning cafes
or workspaces or internet connections or what? What are they trying to
achieve? I can't believe it's a blanket ban rather than some rules on types
of use in types of building.
Phone up and ask the city!
