Love that twitter thread Tony :P
We started writing a post on this exact topic a couple weeks back,
finally posted it today:

I spent some time this morning contemplating what to do. Do I engage? I
could spend all day tweeting at them telling them why they're wrong, but to
what end?
I think the answer is to rise above. So I wrote about
that:http://happymonster.co/2011/11/08/rising-above
At the core of it is something genius that Jacob said:
*“They have money, but we have people- and that is much more powerful.”*
With that post out of my system, it's time to go back to focusing on
helping my community be awesomer!
Cheers,
Tony

This is, no doubt, timed carefully at the end of the Coworking Europe
conference.
It also provided some of the remaining elements I needed for my wrap post
on the conference, which I just finished this morning thanks to jet lag :)

This is a great example of how different their culture is from ours, from
real coworking. As much as we all like to toot our own horns, etc, we
often give props to others in the community. Those of us who are just
getting going look up to the pioneers. In turn, some of us then become
pioneers in our spheres of influence. But, like in life we never
arrive. Always something to both learn and teach. We follow and then we
lead, but always still following. (I think I can hear Elton, It's the
circle of life). All this is not just a rant against Regus rather an
excuse to once again say thanks to the global community of coworking.
Thanks for those who really did blaze the trail for us newbies and modeled
the culture of coworking so well.
