Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Acceleo and EMF Compare participation in Neon

2015-10-23 Thread Laurent Goubet
Seems like even those who had already stated their intent to participate
are resending this... so here is ours :)

Acceleo and EMF Compare will both be participating in the Neon release

There is not much to be said as far as release plans are concerned
yet, they will be amended in the near future with more information :

Acceleo participates as the 3.7.0 release :
https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/modeling.acceleo/releases/3.7.0

EMF Compare participates as the 3.2.0 release :
https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/modeling.emfcompare/releases/3.2.0

Please create a release record.

Thanks!

Please create a release record anyway. If you're not sure what the
version number will be, make a good guess. I trust your good guesses.

FWIW, you can just change the version name on the record later and
everything will work.

Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] DTP major version bump for Neon

2015-10-23 Thread Konstantin Komissarchik
The initial DTP 2 contribution is now in. The first affected project is WTP’s
Dali/JPA.

https://hudson.eclipse.org/simrel/job/simrel.neon.runaggregator.VALIDATE/131/console

I have created a bug and attached a patch.

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=480552

Thanks,

Subject: [cross-project-issues-dev] DTP major version bump for Neon

DTP will soon contribute v2 to Neon aggregation stream. The current version is
1.12.1. The reason for the major version bump is the move to  requiring Java 8.
All DTP plugins and features will get a major version bump.

I recommend all consuming projects to prepare for this ahead of time by
relaxing the version ranges.

Thanks,

- Konstantin
