Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Moving to Gerrit
Ultimately it's totally arbitrary. When I decided to do this[1] , I needed to pick a date. After Ed pointed out that +0 projects are RC3 this week I offered to move it, but since nobody responded to that I took it to mean I could go forward. However I'm willing to hold off if this list is uncomfortable with this kind of change this close to release. -Matt. [cross-project-issues-dev] Eclipse Platform PPC64 actual removal for 4.9
As announced more than a year ago [1]. We planned to drop ppc64 (be) for 4.8. It was kept for one more year and there was no concern so for 4.9 it's going out when build start in this stream. If you are currently using SSH URLs I recommend you login to the Gerrit interface here: https://git.eclipse.org/r and upload your public key( under your account settings -> ssh public keys) This is mostly just a change of the software supporting Git access but there are a few details you need to be aware of: 1) Repository URLs have changed. Currently you may use the following style of URL: ssh://committer...@git.eclipse.org/gitroot/path/to/repo.git The new URLs use the following format: ssh://committer...@git.eclipse.org:29418/path/to/repo.git 2) If you are currently using your committer ID in the 'author' or 'committer' fields, you will need to start using the email address on file for your account 3) You may also need to update your .git/config file with the following: fetch = +refs/heads/*:refs/remotes/origin/* fetch = refs/notes/*:refs/notes/* push = HEAD:refs/for/master And that should be it. Please note that this change does not require that you use the code review features of Gerrit. -Matt. ___ cross-project-issues-dev mailing list cross-project-issues-dev@eclipse.org To change your delivery options, retrieve your password, or unsubscribe from this list, visit https://dev.eclipse.org/mailman/listinfo/cross-project-issues-dev ___ cross-project-issues-dev mailing list cross-project-issues-dev@eclipse.org To change your delivery options, retrieve your password, or unsubscribe from this list, visit https://dev.eclipse.org/mailman/listinfo/cross-project-issues-dev ___ cross-project-issues-dev mailing list cross-project-issues-dev@eclipse.org To change your delivery options, retrieve your password, or unsubscribe from this list, visit https://dev.eclipse.org/mailman/listinfo/cross-project-issues-dev

Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Problems with Batik 1.9.1 packaging for Photon - might need to revert to previous versions
On 04/06/2018 07:07, Martin Lippert wrote: Hey! Hi, Thanks for the quick update. I must admit that I am quite worried about this. Shipping the final version of Orbit for Photon with a version of Batik that people should avoid using and can cause severe issues when installed sounds really really bad. We agree, and are considering a respin of Orbit which would remove the problematic JARs and leave only the (safe) ones which are used by the platform [1] [2].
