Re: [Csgo_servers] MOTD
You may be best off pointing the MOTD to a web page that exists on a web server some where rather than trying to get everything to work on the motd.txt file in the server files. I am not sure on the limitations but I believe there were some servers spreading malware using an exploit on the motd page. Valve may have disabled javascript as a security precaution when it comes to the MOTD. Most of the player stats and server stats are pulled via PHP, jQuery, etc etc. I don't think Java is used a lot for these. ___ Csgo_servers mailing list Csgo_servers@list.valvesoftware.com https://list.valvesoftware.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/csgo_servers
Re: [Csgo_servers] MOTD
David is correct. Just point your MOTD to an external web page and JS works fine. We run some in our MOTD's without issue. How are people hosting workshop Maps - I can download them - However when trying to change to a workshop map it will say Skipping update check for file id ... next check is 400 Seconds The only way i can get the workshop maps to work is to manually add each file ID to subscribed_file_ids , if you have over 50 workshop map it takes alot of time!
