[css-d] Align container/wrapper centre
Hi clever people I'd like to know how to align my page centre? I currently do my layouts with absolute positioning without a wrapper/container and everything aligns left because it's the only way I know. Now the problem is, I'm getting tired of all my pages aligning left and would like to open up a new world with CSS. When aligning a page centre, do I need to use a container/wrapper or not? And how do I align my pages centre? I'm still very new to CSS and this must certainly be a very basic question for this list. I thank you in advance for your answers, and thanks for such a great list. [css-d] Problem with a:hover
Hi clever css people I have a problem on my first CSS layout/design. The one thing I'm struggling with is to get the a:hover to work. It was working just fine and all of a sudden it stopped working after some minor adjustments to who knows what or where. I checked and moved it, redid it, added a:visited and a:active to see if that would sort it out but nothing. (BTW. Is it necessary to have the active and visited in the css file or is it acceptable to have only a:link and a:hover) Could somebody please have a look at my css and tell me where I went wrong. Please go easy on me with all the possible mistakes this site has, it's mainly for playing around until I get my css skills up to a beginner level. I thank you people in advance. [css-d] (no subject)
Hi My name is Rudi and I'm just starting to use CSS. I have been using it for a while now but only for the formatting on my pages. I'd like to learn how to use CSS to design nice layouts like you pro designers. So in the meantime I'll just watch and learn. Bye for now.
