[css-d] How should I do this, PNG?
Hello! I am working on moving a PhotoShop design into a HTML+CSS which should be compatible with IE5.5+ and later. Only I am not sure how I should do this, because the design of the website has some issues, which I don't know how to solve otu of my head. My question would be if anyone would know how I could fix two things. 1. The Chalet-images with the left-side moving over the background-image. Should I use a PNG for this, because when I make a background of this the filesize will be huge. 2. Content-block is also causing trouble for me, it's having some sort of drop shadow or line at the right which should grow. Only this way I can just put it as a background image. Anyone know how to solve these problem, or how I should do it? The design can be found at: http://www.dustyfrog.nl/eveline/website_design1.gif and my current html version can be found at: http://www.dustyfrog.nl/eveline/html/ Yours, Weyert de Boer -- Yours, Weyert de Boer ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) innerfuse* http://www.innerfuse.biz/ __ css-discuss [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
[css-d] Help! My page is going crazy in IE6!
Hello! I have been working this week on a hobby website about the new playstation console, only I happen to have some issues with this page in Microsoft Internet Explorer, it works perfectly in Firefox, Safari etc. But not in Internet Explorer 6, when you open the page, you are missing parts of the content-DIV. But when you hover over a menuitem at top it shows! But when I now hover over on the homepage-link (the image on the left) it disappears again! Anyone know how I can fix this? It would be super when this problem is fixed, it was already quite a hassle to get this worked out in CSS.
