2020-03-24 Thread CTAN Announcements

Benjamin Desef submitted the

yquant

package.

Version number: 0.1.1
License type: lppl1.3

Summary description: Typesetting quantum circuits in a human-readable language

Announcement text:
--

yquant is a LaTeX package that allows to quickly draw quantum circuits.
It is based on TikZ and does not require an external program. At the same time,
it offers
an interpreter for a human-readable and logic-oriented input instead of
matrix-based
approaches pursued by other packages. It allows direct interaction with TikZ and
embedding of TeX commands into its code.

CTAN Update: babel-greek

2020-03-24 Thread CTAN Announcements
Günter Milde submitted an update to the

babel-greek

package.

Version: 1.9j 2020-03-17
License: lppl1.3

Summary description: Babel support for documents written in Greek

Announcement text:
--

 Fix ampersand in math.

Greek 8-bit LGR fonts do not contain an ampersand symbol.
The ampersand must work in text and math mode so we cannot simply
 re-define ``\&`` as a text command.

Babel-Greek now provides the text command ``\textampersand`` and
re-defines ``\&`` to use it in text mode.

Thanks to Md Ayquassar for reporting the issue.
