CTAN update: CircuiTikZ

2021-01-20 Thread CTAN Announcements
Romano Giannetti submitted an update to the

CircuiTikZ

package.

Version number: 1.3.0 2021-01-19
License type: lppl gpl

Summary description: Draw electrical networks with TikZ

Announcement text:
--

The main changes here are under the hood: a big refactoring that should
have helped fixed some long-standing misfeatures.
In case of disaster, there is a new rollback point added (still not
using the new LaTeX rollback mechanism, though).

- Fixed a long-standing problem with labels and similar decoration
  with equal signs and commas
- Fixed a typo in the manual (thanks to @muzimuzhi on GitHub)
- The Mother of All Code Refactoring: no real changes (modulo errors)
- Added a rollback point to 1.2.7

CTAN update: biblatex-oxref

2021-01-20 Thread CTAN Announcements
Alex Ball submitted an update to the

biblatex-oxref

package.

Version number: 2.2 2021-01-18
License type: lppl1.3c

Summary description: BibLaTeX styles inspired by the Oxford Guide to
Style

Announcement text:
--

- Fixed bug in string tests triggered by font changing commands (and
probably other macros) in journal titles and subtitles (thanks to
  Dominik Wujastyk for reporting).

- The default biblatex positition for back references is just before
related entries are printed, which is because the standard styles
place each related entry on a new line. This is not suitable for
oxref, which prints them seamlessly all on one line, so they have now
been moved to the very end of all entry types (thanks to Cian Dorr
  for reporting).

- A new option, norelatedin, has been introduced to prevent related
strings (such as ‘from’ and ‘originally published as’) being
following immediately by the ‘in’ localization string that appears in
inbook and similar entries. For backwards compatibility, this is off
by default (thanks to Cian Dorr for reporting).

- Fixed long-standing bug that rendered the relationpunct option
  non-operative.
