This is a rather large update to biblatex-fiwi. The package now requires
biblatex 2.0 or later and biber 1.0 or later (some basic functionality will
still work with bibtex, but most of the more advanced options rely on biber).

Version 1.2
- Support of the new related functions:
 * Translations and reprints
 * Adapted the option 'partofcited'
 * Adapted the document type @review
 * Adapted the option 'germ' and renamed it as 'translatedas'
 * All of the above functions now only require one biber run
- Add a new entrysubtype forr tv shows
- New command \citeepisode
- Added new sorting scheme 'title'
- New option 'ignorearticle'
- If the date of an entry is missing the bibstring 'undated' is used
- Various bugfixes

 This is mainly a bugfix release. The last releases always introduced small
 errors, this should now have been taken care of.

 - Many small inconsistencies have been eliminated.
 - A new testing environment should make sure that future releases don't
   introduce new inconsistencies
 - Separate example files now show the output for different setups

CTAN Update: biblatex-fiwi

2011-11-18 Thread CTAN Announcements
On Fri, 18 Nov 2011 Simon Spiegel submitted an update to the

  biblatex-fiwi

package.

Summary description: Biblatex styles for use in German humanities.
License type: free

--

biblatex-fiwi is a collection of styles for the biblatex package. It was
designed for citations in German Humanities, especially film studies, and
offers
some features that are not provided by the standard biblatex styles.

biblatex-fiwi depends on biblatex (version 1.7 at least) and cannot be used
without it! Since the style in its current incarnation is highly optimized for
documents written in German, the main documentation is only available in
German.
If there is enough interest, I may at a later point add an English manual.

This update only contains small bugfixes.
