American journalist specified that during his stay in Kosovo and Metohija he has never seen Serbs killing Albanians but witnessed the massacre committed by NATO fighting jets striking Pristina downtown. The same day, Watson said, spokesman Shea denied that NATO bombed civilian targets in Pristina and accused Serbs for doing so. It was absurd, Watson said and added: "During the war NATO's officials denied the truth facts and insisted on the things that were lies. When I found my self standing in front of the burnt and bloody bodies of children killed by NATO's bombs I began to despise the authors of these atrocities and cruelty". Watson intends to write a book on what actually happened in Kosovo and Metohija during the NATO's bombing. The "Manifesto" daily recalled that Paul Watson was the only western journalist who staid in Kosovo after the leaving of OSCE mission members.
