What a really stupid reaction. Why would his constituents care about his bed
hopping? I've worked with people who were cheating on their wives. I can't
say it endeared them to me, but as long as they did their job well, I really
didn't care. It wasn't my business. Condit's wife hasn't seemed too
alarmed. They probably have one of those marriages. Lots of people seem to.
Newt himself must have had an unusual arrangement. That was interesting
only because it demonstrated his hypocrisy. I think the folks would do well
to worry about the fate of the young lady who didn't mind at all having a
relationship with a married man. That kind of behavior can lead to
dangerous acquaintances. Prudy

Well Prudy the question is, if this little girl was murdered, did Condit
have anything to do with it. Notice this idiot uses a 20 year old
picture on his web and this matter was being hushed up - when they
spoke of Condit they called him the handsom Condit - he looks 20 years
older than his age.

Now his connection to the Hells Angels? They deal in drugs and murder
for hire at times - like Paladins only rather than riding big horses
these wandering black stars ride Harleys? What was Condit's connection
here - this weak, drab, little man - is he a Walter Mitty or like
Clinton does he hide behind women's skirts, like an Albright or a Reno
to hide his atrocitiesthis man is on the Select Committee for
Intelligence - did this play a role here.

He met with a man whom Clinton pardoned - a guy named Lasater, organized
crime figure and the Hells Angels, of course, are part of this organized
crime kingdom.

The night before Chandra Levy disappeared, it is aleged Condit had
dinner with Lasater - this known hoodlum - if this be true and his
connections to Hells Angels be true - well???

Here is a typical story that I know to be true - I was sitting at a
table when this attorney came in whom I knew an sat down - he handled a
lot of big cases, and let us say he was an attorney everybody liked, but
he had crossed the line.

There was this man who for political reasons had tried to pull something
on me, it made papers and to me it was a laugh and usualy garbage one
expects in a public area. But, this man went through and smirked and
said Hello there - you mad at me? And I didn't answer.

Well this lawyer looked over at me, moved close and said hey, want me
to get that guy for you, and I said what and he repeated the question
with I can do it if you want. At that time I was so innocent I did not
know what he was taling about, but I could feel the kick he received on
his knees by this other individual.

Now something like this could have happened with Conditt sitting there
who had a lot of power, and he was in position to do great harm to
others - but this mealy mouthed little twit would never murder somebody
- but maye with all that power, like a Manson, he could by a look order
an execution?

I hope this little girl is just teaching him a lessonand I must
say, this democrat party look at Jesse Jackson threatening to loose his
barbarians to the streets - now don't think he will be so threatning
these days, for George Bush - this gentleman C - taught that bastard a
good lesson. Like Pat Robertson preaching as holy man, who had shotgun
wedding?

So I knew at the time in 1972 what had gotten into our demcrat party and
took it over - the same people in on the kill who got JFK sat in a room
at one of our meetings an tried to get me to join them at a
table...from that day forward the democrat party in own town, was
destryed for no person would join with that bunch.two men were
organized crime figures.

Conditt sitting there like a little whip that he is with a man like
Lasater or Hells Angels - just a coy look and oh she is going to destroy
me - and a wink and a smile and a handshake - and gone, my headaches
gone.

Hand Chandra's parents not been around, yu would not see her picture on
the back of a NASCAR race or whatever they call that.

Did Chandra hear something she should not ohave heard - well was Condit,
this man who did not drink, on drugs - did a talk a little too much, and
how in hell is a guy like Condit going to get Levy a job with CIA or FBI
when in particular the FBI is so - well the party was over.

Great News (sounds like that Good News for Jewish People crap they put
out in 60 period).Great News - did she receive a phone call and was
she asked to leave her apartment to meet somebody in a cab or in a big
black limosine - and was she whisked away thinking she was now in the
big time?

Remembr movie the Condor - someday a car would pull up and a smiling
face would greet you - well don't get in.

Might end up Lady in the Lake or boxed in cement or boxed in a car at
your local junk yard.

This has nothing to do with an affair nobody cares what this guy did on
his own time; Clinton committed sodomy in the Oval Office with a pizza
delivery girl and boy that pizza had to be loaded...

So much for the Case of the Missing Intern and the Case of Monica
Lewinsky and wonder who her mentor was - normally they call people like
Monica call girls rather than prostitutes.

Now we know Condit is a liar and he associated with organized crime
figures while putting up a holy front..from his web though, vanity -
all is vanity, for this picture of him is used where he was a much
younger man...

All he had to offer someone was a certain amount of infuence peddling
when it came to a job - might have worked under a Clinton, but not under
George W. Bush for Condit had lost a certain amount, of power.

Chandra then became a liability which he could not afford

Condit's solid support bleeds away

By John Ritter, USA TODAY

MODESTO, Calif. — Gary Condit's safe and supportive congressional district
has turned frosty and skeptical with reports that he admitted having an
affair with a missing 24-year-old government intern.

Constituents who just a month ago defended the seven-term Democrat and took
him at his word that Chandra Levy was nothing more than a good friend now
are demanding full disclosure.

Across the district Sunday, some of them were calling for Condit's
resignation. Many expressed doubt that he can survive politically in a
district that had routinely returned him to Washington with more than 65% of
the vote.

He ought to come clean about everything and stop speaking through his
staff, said Robert Bailey, 46, a recreational vehicle salesman from
Riverbank. It just appears that he's trying to hide something.

Randy Reeves, who manages an auto repair business here, said Condit will lose
the support of many conservative voters like himself if it's true he was
unfaithful to his wife.

I think he should resign, and if he doesn't, I'll be surprised, Reeves, 44,
said. He was one Democrat I was able to support because of his integrity.
But now his integrity is suspect.

Condit, 53, has refused to comment beyond statements that he and Levy were
friends because, he said, he didn't want to distract from the police
investigation of her disappearance.

Washington police interviewed Condit for the third time on Friday and said
again that he is not a suspect. Law enforcement sources said that Condit
admitted in the interview that he was having a sexual affair with Levy, who
was last seen April 30.

A career politician, Condit had earned the loyalty of voters in California's
18th Congressional District through years of painstaking attention to
constituents' needs and a voting record that reflected the values of the
agricultural Central Valley. He has a reputation as a moderate who will break
ranks with Democrats when it's in the best interests of his district, which
spreads from the southern Sacramento suburbs toward Fresno.

But after weeks of silence and after an aunt said Levy told her she had been
seeing the congressman, his rock-solid base appears to be crumbling. Sunday's
Modesto Bee editorialized that each day that passes without the public
hearing from him only increases the attention, the criticism and even the
suspicion. The public's confidence in him is eroding, his credibility has
been damaged and his character and ability to effectively represent his
district are in question.

An NBC News poll found that 53% of voters in the 18th District believe that
Condit should say more about his relationship with Levy.

And with the lessons of the Bill Clinton-Monica Lewinsky scandal, some
constituents said they don't understand what they see as Condit's lack of
damage control. It would have been better for his political future if he had
fessed up early on rather than denying it or just not saying anything, said
Dick Jacobs, 56, who runs a non-profit agency for the disabled here.

Michael Lockard, 34, a commercial real estate appraiser here, said Condit has
borrowed Clinton's tactics: skating around the truth and not being direct.

Lockard's wife, Dodie, 35, a pharmaceutical saleswoman, said, People in
Modesto are disappointed that Condit wasn't honest with the community.

Most people say they don't believe Condit had anything to do with Levy's
disappearance. Others say they wonder whether he is hiding anything else.

There are questions now about his involvement in her disappearance, said
Lynn Reeves, Randy Reeves' wife.

Some are willing to give Condit the benefit of the doubt. We haven't heard
his side of it yet, said Mike Streeter, 32, a physical therapist here. But
if he really was just trying to cover his tail and holding up the
investigation, then he should resign.

Condit has a chance to regain part of his popularity, some say. If the
public believes he's cooperating with the investigation, that he's not
leaving anything out, I suspect he can bounce back from this, Jacobs said.
Condit would next face the voters in November 2002.

Besides, I don't think the Republicans have a strong candidate to put up
against him at this point.
