I'm fairly new to this list, so forgive me if I name a source you're all terribly familiar with, but years ago I read Timothy Goode's, "Above Top Secret," which makes an excellent case for collusion between world governements to keep the UFO phenomenon under wraps. The book is loaded with documentation and newspaper accounts of sightings (and cover-ups) from around the world. It was a real eye-opener. He's reinforced the theories from the first book with a sequel, but I forget what it's called. It was good, too. Also Buzz Aldrin's explanation of the footage shot from the space shuttle regarding the UFO seen traveling toward earth, then seen traveling in the opposite direction a split second later at a phenominal speed with two mysterious objects that seem to be missles of some kind streaking after it. There were also some astrnomers who tried to explain the UFO the policeman saw right above his head as Mercury, and the cop's car stalling-out as he approached the UFO as "coincidence." I may be alone in this belief, but I truly believe that the government pays these people to provide dis-information to the public.
