Police began surveillance on the Rehov Hashmonaim apartment two days ago, after a telephone tip that several young women had been held against their will in the massage parlor. Yesterday morning, the detectives observed a man taking a key ring out of his pocket and opening the gate of the building where the business was housed. When the first clients arrived at the massage parlor, the detectives entered as well, posing as prospective customers. They discovered the eight young women, all of whom were in the country illegally. Seven of them had been smuggled in across the Egyptian border, and one had an expired tourist visa and had arrived at Ben-Gurion Airport. Deportation orders were immediately issued against the women, and the owner of the brothel and his employee were arrested.
