One of the inputs into the conflicts that occasion attacks on the WTC
and the Pentagon is the Zionist version of Jewish nationalism, which
is racist, antidemocratic, colonialist and genocidal -- basically
everything to which the USA is ideologically opposed. Perhaps, if the
USA remained true to its ideology, such murderous hatred would not
arise. But that is another issue. Right now, I am more interested in
the questions how did the Zionist version of Jewish nationalism come
to be and why is an abomination that is justifiably hated and
disdained by decent people.

Uri Ram: Narration, Education and the Invention of Jewish Nationalism
The debate about nationalism and nationality has in the last decade
been characterised by the clash of 'primordialist' and 'modernist'
positions. But is the discrepancy between the two really as large as
often assumed? The paper argues that nationalism is an invented
tradition where pre-national collective identities both prevailed and
did not prevail. The author analyses the circumstances which
determined this particular invention of tradition, what symbolic and
rhetorical means were employed in its process of invention and by
which social mechanisms and social agents this process was
executed. In contrast to the contentions of Zionist ideology it is
argued, that it was the Zionist movement which constructed the Jewish
nation, and not the other way round. In this process intellectuals
played a major role. The thesis is demonstrated by focusing upon the
scholarly and public activities of Ben-Zion Dinur, historian and
educator, who contributed to this invention of Jewish national
tradition, first, by designing a new historical paradigm and, second,

If the Zionist movement constructed the Jewish nation, then the claim
that Palestine is the historical homeland of the Jewish nation is
purely an invention of the Zionist movement.
Studying the true Jewish history discloses the pure falsehood of
Zionist propaganda.
The earliest Greek mention of Jews puts the homeland of Jews in India
(probably with some confusion between India and Mesopotamia) -- not an
unreasonable perception, during the Persian period the vast majority
of Jews (descended mostly from Mesopotamian converts) lived in
Mesopotamia, and Mesopotamian Jewish colonists sponsored by Persia
declared the native Canaanite/Israelite population of Palestine to be
non-Jews.
In the Hellenistic Empires most Jews seem to have described their
ethnos as Pars not Yehud.
Jerusalem was considered the primary oracular sanctuary rather like
Delphi in Greece -- obviously with the exception of Samaritans who
considered the primary oracular sanctuary to be at Nablus.
But the adherents to the Delphic and Yahwe cults did not equate
spiritual center with national homeland. Such a claim is a completely
modern anachronism. And probably most Delphic cult adherents and
Yahwe cult adherents were the descendants of Hellenized or Judaized
populations that had no connection to Greece or to Palestine.
But how do we understand the hatred that Zionism inspires? A lot of
Judeochristian mythology and remorse gets in the way of dispassionate
analysis. Creating an hypothetical analogous situation not subject to
such irrelevant interference is worthwhile.
Maybe in a thousand years, when Roman Catholicism is a vanishing
fossil religion, and Europe has sunk into decay under some form of New
Age neo-Druidism while Roman Catholics in East Asia (the most numerous
remaining Roman Catholic population) are treated with suspicion
because of their connection to ancient European imperialists, leaders
of Asian Roman Catholics will obtain a declaration from the Prime
Minister of some vital East Asian imperial power that his country
would look favorably upon the establishment of a Roman Catholic
national home in Italy, and after 50 years of abusing the native
population of Italy under East Asian protection, the Roman Catholic
colonialists (mostly of East Asian origin who have no real interest in
the European Roman Catholic population that have long lived on good
terms with European wiccans and neo-druids) massacre and drive out the
native population and proceed to abuse the remnant population while
terrorizing the neighboring neo-Druidic countries. It is not
surprising that the new Catholic state is justifiably hated by all
Europeans, is a source of great hostility and suspicion of the
Eastern great powers and serves as the proximate cause of much terrorism
in future Europe and
