You can now be a socialist and hold public office, as does self-professed Socialist Representative from Vermont, Bernie Sanders. What was the 'cold war' all about? The question is why are organizations like the American Civil Liberties Union and the National Educational Association allowed to flourish? Why didn't WE THE PEOPLE stop them? We took our liberties for granted! As our freedoms were slowly chipped away we complained instead of rising to the occasion. The ACLU and the NEA is adamant about eliminating God from the American scene. They protect pornography and every illicit form of expression that goes against our basic value system. They sue - and they win! Their efforts have removed the Ten Commandments from schools and other public buildings, and crosses from hillsides that have been in place for decades. The ACLU, alone, plays havoc with the Constitution on a daily basis while our congressional leaders look the other way! That leads me to believe they are doing the governments dirty work. It is no accident that the mainstream media leans to the left and that it is controlled for content! It is no accident that most every newspaper in the country is biased! It is no accident that the United Nations now finances movies and textbooks with a socialist bent! It is no accident that most of Hollywood fits into the leftist agenda. Long ago, the 'One World Bankers' knew they needed to take over all areas of communication in order to sucker [brainwash] the masses. It's fine raw (as in steak tartar) and it's fine cooked, but I can't take it half and half. It is a matter of taste of course. What might not be a matter of taste is how the animal it comes from is treated prior to its being cut into serving portions. I used to get my pork from a guy whose farm was called Hinkle's Happy Hogs. They were kept and treated humanely. The meat was wonderful, and he always said it was because right up to the moment of truth, he was treating them right and scratching behind their ears. They certainly were placid creatures. The stories that come out of some of the slaughter houses explain why most of the meat we get never tastes very good. I guess abuse and terror send a lot of glandular excretions into the meat.
