On my Windows machine, at least, I can get higher screen refresh rates
from the DP port than HDMI. 



Request-for-recommendation

I'm building a new machine, and it's got a RX5700XT video card that
needs to talk to a 32" monitor.  Both the card and the display support
HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 - any reason to pick one vs the other?

FWIW the display is advertised as "2K 165Hz ultrawide monitor, 1440P 
145Hz monitor" with "2560x1440P/2k high resolution".


Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
