There is a range is on Oak Ridge Road. To get to it take the infamous
International Drive (US 536) pass Wet and Wild until you cross the
intersection of US435 Kirkman Road the road bears round to the left and
stops at the junction opposite Belz Shopping Mall. Turn right onto Oak Ridge
Road (US 505) pass the Greens Golf Course on the left, over the John Young
Parkway (US423) and its about one and a half miles on the right. It's just a
small shop front with parking for 4 cars. The guy inside will tell you how
you are subjects not citizens, ask to see your UK driving license (mine had
no picture) and after removing a few dollars he hands you a .44 Smith and
Wesson and 50 rounds of hot reloads. This you can shoot until the barrel
glows red. (lots of other firearms, all a bit knackered)
Word of advice... take a lemon with you, it'll help wipe the stupid grin off
your face when you ask him for the next 50 rounds.
I took my two young daughters into the range along with a video camera, no
problems!
