If you have a two button mouse, check your control panel to see if the mouse can be configured to emulate a middle button by pressing both buttons simultaneously. Also, how do you start rxvt? What is your command-line? The only difference I see in our cygcheck output is that your TERM is 'xterm' and mine is 'rxvt-cygwin-native' which I set in the command-line to run rxvt in my batch file. rxvt -geometry 120x50 -bg black -fg white -fn Lucida ConsoleP-12 -sr -sl 5000 -tn rxvt-cygwin-native -e bash --login -i That's what I use. Also, other brighter minds probably have much better insight in to your problem but have not yet responded. -Jason -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
Re: Changing middle mouse button for pasting to right mouse button in rxvt
Thanks Jason, I tried changing my TERM to the same as yours, as it should be, and that didn't help. But from your post I learnt that I can just use shift-left-click, and that should suffice. -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
Changing middle mouse button for pasting to right mouse button in rxvt
Hi, I'm using rxvt in Cygwin and I'm wondering how to change my mouse bindings from the middle button for pasting to the right button. The main reason why I want to do this is because my laptop doesn't have a middle mouse button. Thanks for any help! -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
