Re: setup messing up ntfs permissions
So, I guess there is now way to tell setup.exe to stop messing up NTFS permissions currently. May I ask to add such feature then? -- Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple

I can't vouch for the don't do it part, but /etc/fstab is ignored because setup.exe doesn't link against cygwin1.dll, thus isn't a Cygwin application in the technical sense (although it is of course essential for Cygwin as a project or installation). -- Matthias Andree -- Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
