Years ago, I recall reading that early on in the history of inkjet printers,
even 1990, 'features' were built in the printers to detect if the printed
document "looked like" a US dollar, small yellow dots, precisely placed to
encode source data, were written over the face of the document. It seemed to me
that removing the yellow cartridge, plus a thorough exhausting of the residual
material, would improve the security.
Based on what I heard, it wasn't clear that such security dots, or other
features, were used for non-currency-counterfeiting applications.   It sounds
from these recent incidents as if inkjet printers are putting identifiable
information on virtually any printouts.

Postscript: The Reality Winner incident did come /after/ the
publication of docs apparently submitted to The Intercept by Daniel
Hale. So, he had no obvious way to know where NOT to send TS dox.

If this took place before The Intercept burned Reality Winner, shame on
The Intercept. If it took place after, shame on the leaker.

I saw a story indicating that prior to publishing the material submitted
by Ms. Winner, The Intercept called the Feds to verify that the zip code
on the package matched the facility their source told them it came from.
Not certain this actually happened - but given what came next I do not
doubt it.

The Intercept published at least one high quality scan of a document
sent by Ms. Winner, with the printer's watermarks intact: This told
world + Feds the printer's serial number, and time the document was
printed. When I read about that, I went to The Intercp's site and
downloaded the image in question. I bumped up the contrast and tweaked
its colors a bit: Viola, the repeating watermark pattern jumped right out.

Starting on the date The Intecept openly and publicly burned Ms. Winner
- whether through shocking ignorance and negligence, or by design -
anyone who sends them 'dangerous documents' has no one to blame but
themselves the first morning they wake up in a Federal prison.

Any published works on acoustic, magnetic, electrical,
physical excitation resonance modes resulting in
molecular disruptive disassociation within the bran?
Would not be surprised if there were many ways
to basically emulsify everyone in a workspace
over time, likely without feeling any pain, with
something like ceiling tile or in wall radiators.
Bonus if standard TSCM sweeps don't pick it up.
Also neuroactive air, food, water, and tactile
biochemical poisons... a little spritz on the
keyboard, the doorknob, the morning newspaper.

Up until the last 100 years, all living things
had only to deal with Earth itself, sea,
atmosphere, lightning wind storm, solar
and galactic. So us fleshbags probably not
doing too well with all this new EM radiation,
industrial chems and particles saturating our space.

And now you want to throw nation state
top secret mind warfare anti-personnel exploit
research labs into the mix?

All them supercomputers doing "protein folding" to
"cure cancer"... nope... it's a fucking prion puree mate,
customized to the DNA coming out the embassies
through sewers and the bin.

Anyone with an Android smartphone should be able to download an audio spectrum
analyzer app to detect various sonic events.
Further, I believe that USB-connected  SDR's (Software-Defined Radios) which
can implement cheap spectrum analyzers are cheaply available.

BY BOB SALSBERG, Associated Press

BOSTON (AP) — A U.S. diplomat who said he suffered headaches and memory loss
under mysterious circumstances while stationed in China pledged Friday to
donate his brain to head injury researchers.

Mark Lenzi, 44, is an unusual addition to the several thousand others,
including many former NFL players who suffered concussions during their
careers, who previously signed agreements to have their brains studied after
they die by the CTE Center at Boston University.

A security engineer for the U.S. State Department, Lenzi was among a number of
diplomats who were brought home last year from the U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou,
China, after reporting as-yet-unexplained symptoms.

The State Department has drawn no link between those diplomats and 26 workers
at the U.S. Embassy in Cuba who were withdrawn in 2017 after reporting
symptoms, including those consistent with minor traumatic brain injury, or
concussion.

"The engineer in me wants to get to the bottom of this type of concussion and
exactly what happened to me," Lenzi said while signing the pledge in Boston
with representatives of the Concussion Legacy Foundation, an organization that
collaborates with the BU researchers by recruiting donors and publicizing the
dangers associated with head trauma.

Chris Nowinski, co-founder and chief executive of the foundation, said the
brain injury community must continue research to find answers for head trauma.

"There are patients out there that need answers from the scientific community,"
he said.

Lenzi now works at a State Department passport office in his native New
Hampshire. He said he and his wife began hearing strange noises in their
apartment in 2017, and later developed symptoms consistent with concussion. In
an interview with the AP, he said he initially did not associate the noises
with the symptoms, believing the headaches may have been triggered by smog.

Lenzi has not been identified by U.S. officials as someone suffering from
injuries similar to those suffered by diplomats in Cuba.
The State Department said Friday that out of 15 diplomats or family members
from China who underwent additional medical evaluation in the U.S., 14 were
found not to have symptoms like those from Cuba and the other case had not been
determined.
