It works for me under Mint 18.2 and 18.3 (KDE) on both a laptop (touchpad)
and desktop three button mouse. Perhaps check your settings?

[darktable-dev] Mouse hover sensibility on sliders controls is gone

2017-12-27 Thread André Felipe Carvalho
Hello friends at dt, merry xmas to you all and thanks for the xmas gift (v
2.5.0) ;-))

I'm on Ubuntu (brand new install) 16.04.03

Brand new dt compilation, version 2.5.0 (with xmas hat)

I noticed that the Mouse hover sensibility on sliders controls, for moving
with arrow keys, is gone. We have to click on that slider so it get the
focus and only then we can move the sliders with arrow keys.

The problem with this behaviour, imho, is that when you click on it, you
move the slider to another point.

Best regards and I wish you all a very happy and proficuous 2018!

[darktable-dev] Lens Correction Module in 2.4.0

2017-12-27 Thread Frank Huebner
Hello,

just upgraded darktable and recognized a problem with my setup: lens
correction module does not show the camera as well as it reports to
choose camera and lens manually.

Trying to choose the camera and lens does not show anything, just an
empty chooser, no camera or lens to choose.

Darktable 2.2.5 works fine. After upgrading to darktable 2.4.0 the
problem is present. After swithing back to 2.2.5 the lens correction
works fine again.

My next try was setting up a new user and test dt 2.4.0 with the new
user, new config files and new pictures: camera and lens is still not
found.

My system is opensuse 42.4, with darktable from graphics repo, language
setting is German.

Shall I report this as a bug, or look somewhere else?

Frank

What if you click into the center area (the image)? Does that bring mouse
focus back?
