Re: [darktable-user] Wacom tablet and DT and GIMP
Hi, some years ago I got a small Intuos tablet, it was not as useful as I had hoped with darktable. My main conclusion back then: Darktable developers were not using tablets, so the tablet interface was not very robust or practical. It may be different today, and especially for those bigger tablets with a screen built in. Cheers Michael Am 7. Re: [darktable-user] Wacom tablet and DT and GIMP
I have one, Bamboo series (no longer in production). Everything worked out of the box from very beginning when I bought it about 6 years ago. Basic mapping can be done by Gnome configuration center. I believe there is something similar in KDE. Gimp works fine with Wacoms. Timur. I'm using one, and it works to a point, under mint 20. Rotary buttons don't map to any subscribe like they did under Windows. It might be possible to fix this, but I just haven't spent the time to investigate. But the stylus works fine.
