His talks of his area of research - extracting knowledge from unstructured data, and shows us how it spans multiple disciplines in computer science - right from building theoretical machine learning models, to natural language processing, to using crowd-sourcing and game theory to optimize on sub-tasks, to finally building real-time scalable systems.
