Yup CC-by allows for commercial use. The only condition is to attribute the

Is the data available at: https://github.com/datameet/maps - for commercial 
use?
The license file says software under MIT license and there is no mention of 
if the data can be used for commercial use or not. But in the Permissions 
column it shows "green" tick against "commercial".

Looking forward to confirmation on commercial use.
