Hi,

I'll be travelling by car to Banja Luka on 21 July (Thursday),
departing from Sofia (Bulgaria), passing via Belgrade (Serbia), then
Nova Gradiska (Croatia) and Stara Gradiska.

The return journey will be on 31 July.

I'd welcome company of one or two passengers, so if you happen to
travel on these dates from/to some of the route points, get in touch
with me ('dam' on IRC).

See you soon!

Well, html5 is supposed to work with iceweasel 4 too. Unfortunately
switching to that requires at least JavaScript -- something I don't
enable lightly, probably never on that particular site.

Anyway, thanks all responses.

No, the day trip will be outside of Cáceres and is organized
separately.

For the old town visit you have to show tomorrow (22nd) at 22:00 in
front of the main venue (MT) entrance. If there is interest, there
will be another such visit organized for peple that couldn't make it
tomorrow. See http://wiki.debconf.org/wiki/DebConf9/VisitOldTown

I can prepare whatever kinds of signs are needed. What I need though
is somebody to walk around/inside the venue, take notes and present me
with a list of signs, noting the text needed as well as any arrows if
appropriate. If the signs are too many, we can split the work.

Example (Madrid -> Caceres):

 - normal rate: 41.60 €
 - web rate:16.60 €
 - "estrella": 25.00 €

Also, if you buy in advance you don't risk arriving on time and

I tried the above page and tested it with a trip simulation for the
next month (so I could get to actual prices).

It gives me some choices I could not understand:

Tarifa General Web Estrella
Turista 30.90 12.40 18.60
Preferente 40.90 --- 24.50

This is one way only, the return prices are similar.

Could somebody explain which is what in that table? (and how ~45 euros
for roundtrip fit?)

This would be nice if we can handle it :)

Me[1] and Nadi[2] will target the AirLink bus that departs at 05:00
from Waverly. We'll actually catch it at Shandwick place.

Count me and also Nadi. It would be nice if the price could go down,
but hey, we don't get to Scotland that often so we'll come even if it
doesn't.

Thanks for organising this,

Sorry for the confusion. I've just read [1] again which states:

a2ps -4 -B -l 80 -o - ksp-dc7.txt|gnome-gv -
(7 sheets, 4 if you print double-sided)

But the letters are really tiny. You may want to replace -2 with -4.
(15 sheets, 8 double-sided)

(You may instruct gnome-gv to first print all odd pages, then reload
the paper and print the even pages to simulate duplex printing)

If you feel comfortable pulling, opening, powering-on, booting etc a
laptop every now and then, why not? :)

AFAIUI, the "party" is not single, time-constrained event, but
continues all along the conference.

I've applied for the "Hostel, I will pay myself". Now I am unsure
whether this option is what was announced[1] to have failed or is
approved in the above announcement.

Can you shed some light?

Thanks,
