Debconf is Debconf; it doesn't require any other labels to describe it
;)

But yes, I know you were not talking about the label. I like the
unconference idea and maybe it can be adapted to Debconf!

I'm staying at a different hotel (Lavender, about 13 min walk away) so
I'll pass on the wakeup ;) but I'll try to be there!

Re: Time again for loopy submissions!

2023-09-06 Thread Badri Sunderarajan

Hi there!

As has now become yet another DebConf tradition, we're now accepting
submissions for Loopy, the conference loop that is shown on the
stream in between talks!

I'm new to this, but I saw last time's video and I'm guessing from
context that Loopy takes submissions/gets updated continuously
throughout the conference?

Anyway, it's a very cool idea! Looking forward to seeing it when I
arrive this weekend; let me see if I come up with something :)

Re: Regarding creating a Debian Wiki account for registering DebConf trips

2023-08-29 Thread Badri Sunderarajan

Hi,

I require access to debian wiki for registering myself to Day trip at
debconf 2023. I however I'm not sure about the procedure for getting
access to debian wiki, it would be helpful if you could assist me
with the process.

Not sure how this works, but is there some way to whitelist wiki
self-service signup for DebConf attendees' email addresses? This looks
like it'll be a recurring problem.
