Using Iceweasel 38.4.0 here, it does give me additional choices when I
choose custom settings.

Iceweasel history

Hi,

I try to set the history duration of Iceweasel, so that it just keeps 
last month (it's an example). But do you manage to do this? Here, I get:

1. Open Edit menu
2. Preferences menu
3. In the tab Privacy, a combo box "How to keep the history". 3 choices: 
keep the history, not keep, or keep according to customized settings. I 
choose the last one.
4. 1st, no new option appears. 2nd, when I close the tab (ctrl-w) or 
reset iceweasel, the combo box still displays "keep the history". It 
would explain why I've not additional options and I cannot go further.


How does it happen for you? Is it a bug? An accessibility problem?

Maybe all check boxes, I've tested with the first "active privacy mode" 
(something like that, I'm in French system).

hmm but this checkbox appears regardless the choice you do in combo box. 
It is not specific to the choice "Customized history". Or is it 
impossible to set the history delay keeping? Why are there differences 
between "keep history" and "keep according customized" if the settings 
are the same?

hmmm... I had read a tutorial which mentioned it was possible. But maybe 
it was an old feature... Weird...

The delay is not configurable, maybe it's Mozilla choice. If you do not
change any check box values the initial choice is conserved.

I use 38.2 (testing). How do you choose the item? With mouse? keyboard? 
Do you use Orca?
