To go to the top bar you should press ctrl+alt+shift+escape. On the top 
bar to switch between the applets the shortcut is "tab".

I am trying with this Debian live iso image:
debian-live-9.3.0-amd64-mate.iso

Hi!

I installed Debian Mate with "Debian Installer with Speech Synthesis" 
feature.
I unable to read the indicator applet, Orca did not say anything when I 
switch to the indicator panel.

The situation is the same when i try to run Debian in live mode.
What can I do?
