Let me add my huge thanks, too :)

It's great to see that while I'm busy ATM, things are going on :)

I don't know (that is also my main problem). Maybe somebody with
insights into at-spi2 can chime in.

I could test those packages in Sid today.

In a quick test it looks like everything is correct.

Thanks a lot for the upload.

Best regards.

Hello all,

I could test those packages in Sid today.

A quick test could be :
1) Enable a11y in your DE as describe in
https://wiki.debian.org/accessibility

2) Launch the orca screen reader with "orca --replace"
3) Launch an accessible text editor that uses GTK (so ATK) : gedit or pluma
4) try to read the menu with orca, if orca reads the menu it looks like
it is OK :)

Maybe it could be a good test to verify before and after the upgrade and
to check the at-spi daemon in the active process.

Best regards :).

I'm not interested right now in working on updating the copyright
file, but feel free to work on it if you like.

I think I fixed that issue in the git branch now. Sometimes that
lintian check reports apparently false positives though.

Thanks,

I quickly reviewed and uploaded at-spi2-core to debomatic, but it
contains an extremely big amount of lintian warnings on the
debian/copyright file. Could you please have a look?

http://debomatic-amd64.debian.net/distribution#unstable/at-spi2-core/2.24.1-1/lintian

Isn't bindnow and fortify possible now?

I think you can upload, and power users will test in sid and testing.
For Orca, no problem so far, I thinks you can remove the block soon.

What does it take to test that? I'm not in a place to do it this time
at this second, but I decided to ask anyway. Maybe I can help in the
future... or maybe knowing what's needed this time will help someone
else consider stepping up for you today...

Thanks in advance if you have any feedback :)

I can upload those, if people feel comfortable with me not being able to
