Bug#233047: PNG DirectoryIndex icons transparancy messed up
Package: apache2-common Version: 2.0.48-7 Severity: minor hi, It seems the PNG images in /usr/share/apache2/icons got their transparancy set incorrectly somewhere (it shows up as opaque cyan). This is trivial to fix: simply regenerate them from their GIF counterparts using ImageMagick: for i in *.png; do convert ${i%png}gif $i;done cheers, -- System Information: Debian Release: unstable/experimental APT prefers experimental APT policy: (500, 'experimental'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.2 Locale: LANG=nl_NL.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=nl_NL.UTF-8 (ignored: LC_ALL set to nl_NL.UTF-8) Versions of packages apache2-common depends on: ii debconf 1.4.10 Debian configuration management sy ii debianutils 2.6.2Miscellaneous utilities specific t ii libapr0 2.0.48-7 The Apache Portable Runtime ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-11 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libdb4.24.2.52-10Berkeley v4.2 Database Libraries [ ii libexpat1 1.95.6-6 XML parsing C library - runtime li ii libldap22.1.25-1 OpenLDAP libraries ii libssl0.9.7 0.9.7c-5 SSL shared libraries ii mime-support3.24-1 MIME files 'mime.types' 'mailcap ii net-tools 1.60-9 The NET-3 networking toolkit ii openssl 0.9.7c-5 Secure Socket Layer (SSL) binary a ii ssl-cert1.0-7Simple debconf wrapper for openssl ii zlib1g 1:1.2.1-4compression library - runtime -- no debconf information

Bug#225142: Bug #225142: Ping?
Hi, What happened to #225142? It is tagged `pending' but does not seem to have been fixed with any recent a2-uploads; according to Tollef, it's not fixed in svn either. Could you please give me some sort of update on this? :-) /* Steinar */ -- Homepage: http://www.sesse.net/

Bug#233077: apache2-common: Include for directories needs to be more selective
Package: apache2-common Version: 2.0.48-7 Severity: wishlist When I edited a file in /etc/apache2/conf.d/ and put it under version control in an RCS subdirectory I discovered that apache was attempting to include the RCS directory and the foo~ (editing backup/scratch) file. This is the documented behavior, but it is not good behavior. As a work-around, I have changed /etc/apache2/apache2.conf to use # Include generic snippets of statements Include /etc/apache2/conf.d/[a-z]*[a-z0-9] You might or might not want to use this in the standard configuration. Really, an ideal solution IMHO would be for upstream to change the way Include picks out files to use something more like the logic in, for example, run-parts. I suppose this could also be added as a Debian tweak. Also, this could be made a separate command, leaving Include as is (IncludeParts?). -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux iron 2.4.24advncd #1 SMP Fri Jan 30 14:30:34 PST 2004 i686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C Versions of packages apache2-common depends on: ii debconf 1.3.22 Debian configuration management sy ii debianutils 2.6.2Miscellaneous utilities specific t ii libapr0 2.0.48-4 The Apache Portable Runtime ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-11 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libdb4.24.2.52-8 Berkeley v4.2 Database Libraries [ ii libexpat1 1.95.6-6 XML parsing C library - runtime li ii libldap22.1.23-1 OpenLDAP libraries ii libssl0.9.7 0.9.7c-5 SSL shared libraries ii mime-support3.24-1 MIME files 'mime.types' 'mailcap ii net-tools 1.60-9 The NET-3 networking toolkit ii openssl 0.9.7c-5 Secure Socket Layer (SSL) binary a ii ssl-cert1.0-7Simple debconf wrapper for openssl ii zlib1g 1:1.2.1-3compression library - runtime -- no debconf information

It's keeping apache2 out of testing, and with it subversion. Cheers, Philipp
