Re: Changing the default document root for HTTP server
On Apr 15, Daniel Baumann wrote: > packages should have a debconf question for the document root, No, because this would require making every package significantly more complex. Not just because of asking the question, but the configuration files would not be conffiles anymore. And it would be a pointless exercise, since for most people either the name does not really matter or they need to change it anyway to manage virtual hosts. I think /var/www/ is OK. -- ciao, Marco signature.asc Description: Digital signature
Bug#594439: must depend on a newer version of mime-support

Bug#594439: must depend on a newer version of mime-support
Package: apache2.2-common Version: 2.2.16-1 Severity: normal The one in lenny does not ship /etc/mime.types, so a partial upgrade to squeeze breaks apache. -- ciao, Marco signature.asc Description: Digital signature

Bug#272476: apache2: %b size is wrong for partial downloads
On Oct 04, Adam Conrad <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I leave it up to you whether you'd prefer to downgrade this to wishlish on > the off chance that some kind soul will provide a Debian-only patch, or just > close it, since that seems to be upstream's response. I do not advocate debian-specific changes, especially if they they may confuse people as it appears to be in this case. OTOH, maybe the LogFormat entries in the default apache.conf should use %O instead of %b. If you do not think this is viable then just close the bug. -- ciao, | Marco | [8341 di5qeZBynSq4w]
Bug#272476: %b size is wrong for partial downloads
Package: apache2 Version: 2.0.50-12 Severity: normal An example from my log file (1284637 is %b and 50680 is %O): 00.000.254.82 - - [20/Sep/2004:11:46:12 +0200] "GET /main.cvd HTTP/1.0" 200 1284637 (50680) "-" "clamav/devel-20040517" I remember that this used to work until some probably recent update... Getting %b right to the byte is not really important, but partial downloads should not be accounted in full. Range GETs are correctly logged: 00.00.170.16 - - [20/Sep/2004:11:46:10 +0200] "GET /daily.cvd HTTP/1.1" 206 512 (826) "-" "clamav/devel-20040517" -- ciao, | Marco | [8076 anhOH7EcySkkk]
