Many thanks for both. I just have uploaded libinput for
buster-proposed-updates. In case it turns out it causes problems for
d-i please let me know!

Out of the top of my head, I still haven't managed to get stuff into
place from a hack back in… Montreal; so that udeb still isn't being used
at the moment. Feel free to go ahead, I'll get back to you folks if it
turns out my memory was faulty here.

This looks OK to me but, as libinput produces a udeb, it will need a
KiBi-ack.

Bug#966074: hwclock: fails to set time on glibc 2.31

2020-07-22 Thread Jakob Haufe
Package: busybox
Version: 1:1.30.1-5
Severity: important
Tags: upstream
X-Debbugs-Cc: su...@debian.org
Control: block -1 961195

With glibc 2.31, hwclock from busybox is unable to set the system time
due to the changes in settimeofday behavior.

This can *currently* be worked around by switching to busybox-static as
1:1.30.1-5 was still built using glibc 2.30.

The problem has been reported upstream in [1] which also contains a patch.
