Bug#662086: grub-install failed with raid+lvm
Pieter Lexis pie...@kumina.nl (10/07/2012): I can confirm this happening with the latest mini.iso using only LVM and ext4 partitions. Mounting /proc in /target/proc and re-running the installation step fixes the problem. Even if the function name could have been better chosen, the fix I just pushed to the grub-installer package should do the job. Verified that the initial try is failing with RAID1+KVM, and that the second try (after having replaced /usr/bin/grub-installer with the new version) just works.
