Package: ifupdown
Version: 0.6.4-4.10
Severity: wishlist

I don't know if it's possible or not, but I have a machine that I'm happily
using DHCP on that I'd like to set the MTU on. (I'd like to enable jumbo
frames on a gigabit adapter.)

Thanks!

In that case: ifupdown has supported setting the interface MTU since
version 0.6.4-4.1. That pre-up line can be replaced with:

        mtu 9000
