Bug#773661: linux-image-3.16-3-amd64: drm error messages on boot

2014-12-21 Thread Albert Phelipot
Package: src:linux
Version: 3.16.5-1
Severity: minor

Dear Maintainer,

On boot I have two errors reported by the kernel :

[drm:cpt_set_fifo_underrun_reporting] *ERROR* uncleared pch fifo underrun on
pch transcoder A

[drm:cpt_serr_int_handler] *ERROR* PCH transcoder A FIFO underrun

This is just cosmetic because boot process continues normally after the
warnings.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards.
Librement from France.

2011-02-25 Thread Albert PHELIPOT
Package: firmware-ipw2x00

Severity: important

The connection fails often and wicd try to connect again in vain, seem to be a
difficulty to obtain IP adress with DHCP
Problem seems to be solved by downgrading to hand installed firmware 3.0.

Bug#440681: Confirmation of disagrement in packages vlc vlc-nox on debian lenny + debian multimedia lenny main

2009-04-03 Thread Albert PHELIPOT

Hello,

Came around because getting in trouble with vlc thant cannot handle xvid
and videostream on french dsl_tv.
Seems to be a mismatch with libavcodec needed to be downgraded opposing to
ffmpeg version.
But if you downgrade libavcodec you have to uninstall dvdrip and other
softwares.

VLC developpers claim that is a debian bug on multimedia repos based on
version conflict of libs.

Hoping that special usage of vlc could be enabled soon.
