Bug#386302: wdm: fails to execute the /etc/X11/Xsession script from x11-common-7.0.22 (X.Org).
Package: wdm Version: 1.28-2.1 Severity: important The /etc/X11/Xsession file from x11-common(X.Org) is not marked executable after installation. But wdm tries to invoke this script (via /etc/X11/wdm/Xsession)) with the `exec' command which fails with the current bash (3.1-5). Note, xdm just sources the script (. /etc/X11/Xsession) which works. wdm's /etc/X11/wdm/Xsession script should be changed accordingly. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16-2-686 -- debconf information excluded -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe.
