Bug#439598: avelsieve depends on locally install cyrus imap daemon
Hauke, Thanks! Your reply was precisely what I needed. Unfortunately, I now realize that this software cannot co-exist with another sieve manager due to the way it stores and parses (or fails to parse) a generic script. However, that is an implementation choice, not a bug for you. Changing the dependencies to suggests sounds like a good approach. Thanks again! Bug#439598: avelsieve depends on locally install cyrus imap daemon
Package: avelsieve Version: 1.9.7-2 When attempting to add sieve filtering functionality to squirrelmail, this package requires the installation of the cyrus-imapd-2.2 package. However, the web inteface for email does not reside on the same server as the cyrus imap server. This package should allow installation on a remote website without requiring all of the cyrus server software to be installed locally. I am using Debian lenny, kernel 2.6.20.6 and libc6 2.6.1-1+b1. This behavior can be repeated by installing the package: # aptitude install avelsieve Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Reading extended state information Initializing package states... Done Reading task descriptions... Done Building tag database... Bug#389865: horde3: main panel fails to load when using weatherdotcom
-Original Message- Try removing php-cache. If that doesn't work, please try to obtain a backtrace at time of the error. This seems to have stopped the error! Thanks! Now we see the following in the Weather Forecast section: The weather.com block is not available. What's the next stop to troubleshoot/resolve the issue? Also, how would I acquire a backtrace at the time of error? Would this be found in the logs? You could weatherdotcom from the main page. I apologize for such a slow response. However, I found your message confusing at first. Unfortunately, I'm still not certain what you mean by this last line. How do I weatherdotcom from the main page? Am I supposed to click something, or type something in for a URL? Thanks again! It's great that my customers can view the main webpage again. Bug#389865: horde3: main panel fails to load when using weatherdotcom
I reinstalled using: # aptitude install php-cache A reload of the main page showed that the weatherdotcom block did not have a location set. So I reconfigured it for my location. At this point the error returned: Fatal error: Cannot use object of type Cache_Error as array in /usr/share/php/Cache/Container.php on line 345 So, here is the output from placing var_dump(debug_backtrace()); at line 345: array(8) { [0]= array(7) { [file]= string(34) /usr/share/php/Cache/Container.php [line]= int(172) [function]= string(7) preload [class]= string(15) Cache_Container [object]= object(Cache_Container_file)#79 (18) { [fileLocking]= bool(false) [cache_dir]= string(15) /var/lib/horde/ [filename_prefix]= string(0) [entries]= array(0) { } [total_size]= int(0) [max_userdata_linelength]= int(257) [preload]= bool(true) [id]= string(32) 91e6c19c206918b0552cd8fcde247e23 [group]= string(6) search [expires]= int(0) [cachedata]= string(0) [userdata]= string(0) [unknown]= bool(true) [encoding_mode]= string(6) base64 [highwater]= int(2048000) [lowwater]= int(1536000) [allowed_options]= array(3) { [0]= string(13) encoding_mode [1]= string(9) highwater [2]= string(8) lowwater } [group_dirs]= array(0) { } } [type]= string(2) - [args]= array(2) { [0]= string(32) 91e6c19c206918b0552cd8fcde247e23 [1]= string(6) search } } [1]= array(7) { [file]= string(24) /usr/share/php/Cache.php [line]= int(257) [function]= string(11) getUserdata [class]= string(15) Cache_Container [object]= object(Cache_Container_file)#79 (18) { [fileLocking]= bool(false) [cache_dir]= string(15) /var/lib/horde/ [filename_prefix]= string(0) [entries]= array(0) { } [total_size]= int(0) [max_userdata_linelength]= int(257) [preload]= bool(true) [id]= string(32) 91e6c19c206918b0552cd8fcde247e23 [group]= string(6) search [expires]= int(0) [cachedata]= string(0) [userdata]= string(0) [unknown]= bool(true) [encoding_mode]= string(6) base64 [highwater]= int(2048000) [lowwater]= int(1536000) [allowed_options]= array(3) { [0]= string(13) encoding_mode [1]= string(9) highwater [2]= string(8) lowwater } [group_dirs]= array(0) { } } [type]= string(2) - [args]= array(2) { [0]= string(32) 91e6c19c206918b0552cd8fcde247e23 [1]= string(6) search } } [2]= array(7) { [file]= string(49) /usr/share/php/Services/Weather/Weatherdotcom.php [line]= int(342) [function]= string(11) getUserdata [class]= string(5) Cache [object]= object(Cache)#82 (11) { [caching]= bool(true) [gc_time]= int(1) [gc_probability]= int(1) [gc_maxlifetime]= int(86400) [container]= object(Cache_Container_file)#79 (18) { [fileLocking]= bool(false) [cache_dir]= string(15) /var/lib/horde/ [filename_prefix]= string(0) [entries]= array(0) { } [total_size]= int(0) [max_userdata_linelength]= int(257) [preload]= bool(true) [id]= string(32) 91e6c19c206918b0552cd8fcde247e23 [group]= string(6) search [expires]= int(0) [cachedata]= string(0) [userdata]= string(0) [unknown]= bool(true) [encoding_mode]= string(6) base64 [highwater]= int(2048000) [lowwater]= int(1536000) [allowed_options]= array(3) { [0]= string(13) encoding_mode [1]= string(9) highwater [2]= string(8) lowwater } [group_dirs]= array(0) { } } [_debug]= bool(false) [_default_error_mode]= NULL [_default_error_options]= NULL [_default_error_handler]= string(0) [_error_class]= string(10) PEAR_Error [_expected_errors]= array(0) { } } [type]= string(2) - [args]= array(2) { [0]= string(32) 91e6c19c206918b0552cd8fcde247e23 [1]= string(6) search } } [3]= array(7) { [file]= string(45) /usr/share/horde3/lib/Block/weatherdotcom.php [line]= int(141) [function]= string(14) searchLocation [class]=
Bug#389865: horde3: main panel fails to load when using weatherdotcom
Thank you for your assistance. This was a missing 'tmpdir' configured in horde (as shown in the backtrace). I'm uncertain why this option pointed to a non-existent directory, but creating the directory and setting permissions fixed the issue. Sorry for wasting your time. Bug#389865: horde3: main panel fails to load when using weatherdotcom
Package: horde3 Version: 3.1.3-1 Severity: normal I'm now encountering the following error in the main panel after I login: Fatal error: Cannot use object of type Cache_Error as array in /usr/share/php/Cache/Container.php on line 345 Fortunately, the side-panel is properly rendered. I am then able to click the Mail link and read/respond to email normally. However, the error reappears when I click the Horde link in the side-panel. I was able to successfully recreate this with another users account by adding weather.com to the layout. The error appeared when I clicked save. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16.5 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages horde3 depends on: ii apache2-mpm-prefork [httpd] 2.0.55-4.1 traditional model for Apache2 ii libapache2-mod-php5 5.1.6-1 server-side, HTML-embedded scripti ii php-log 1.9.8-1 Log module for PEAR ii php-pear 5.1.6-1 PEAR - PHP Extension and Applicati ii php4-pear4:4.4.2-1.1 PHP Extension and Application Repo Versions of packages horde3 recommends: ii logrotate 3.7.1-3Log rotation utility ii php-date 1.4.3-1PHP PEAR module for Date and Time pn php-file none (no description available) ii php-mail 1.1.6-2PHP PEAR module for sending email ii php-mail-mime 1.3.1-1PHP PEAR module for creating and d ii php-services-weather 1.4.0-1acts as an interface to various on pn php4-mcrypt none (no description available) ii php5-gd 5.1.6-1GD module for php5 ii php5-ldap 5.1.6-1LDAP module for php5 ii php5-mysql5.1.6-1MySQL module for php5 -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe.
