Bug#653501: libfreenect : pull request and issues raised
- solution 1: installing libfreenect0.1 package installs a modprobe rule which blacklist the module gspca_kinect. But it makes the v4l2 interface unavailable which is bad for those who want to use it. What about asking the user via debconf what he wants and make the blacklisting as an option? Seems the easiest solution for me... Cheers, Arne -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org

Bug#508798: module-init-tools: module from /etc/modules not loaded when blacklisted
Package: module-init-tools Version: 3.4-1 Severity: normal Tags: patch The module-init-script in init.d loads the modules listed in /etc/modules. Unfortunatly this does not work if the module is blacklisted as the environment var MODPROBE_OPTIONS includes -b during bootup (set via init from the initramfs).
