(well, it makes one command unusable, not the whole package)

That's true, but I didn't find any suitable case.

I see you have filed #973515; the description of that one reads a bit like
this is the same issue, is it? (In this case the bugs should be merged
and assigned to the package causing it…)

I'm OK with this.

By the way, I've been digging a bit more, and it looks like it may not
be a suckless-tools or i3 bug, not straightforwad at least, but
something link to locales.
I'll let you know if I find more. If you want me to check some things,
just ask.

Thanks a lot.

Bug#738158: xserver-xorg: in SID xserver-xorg depends on xorg-input-abi-19 which cannot be installed

Package: xserver-xorg
Severity: critical
Justification: breaks unrelated software

Dear Maintainer,

When upgrading in SID, xserver-xorg is selected to be removed (as well as all

as it depends on xorg-input-abi-19, which has installation candidate (this
virtual package is part
of xserver-xorg-core which is installed on my system.

I incidentally did the upgrade, though, so you won't find xserver-xorg as

Without calfbox (as a python module), laborejo isn't able to emit any sound nor
MIDI in jack.
Would it be possible to package it too, knowing that playing with python
modules outside apt is always a bit risky.

Bug#669946: grub2/grub-pc upgrade fails with grub-probe complaining /dev not mounted (even if it is)

2012-04-22 Thread Aurélien Roux
Package: grub2
Version: 1.99-21
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

During upgrade (in SID), grub-pc, grub2 and any new kernel just won't be
properly installed because of grub-probe complaining of /dev not being mounted.
This bug already occurred in previous versions of grub2, from what I've read,
but as the fix was to upgrade grub2, I cannot use it by now, being at the
latest one!

Please note this dist-upgrade was quite big, because of several times spent
everywhere but on this machine, and I might have done a versions jump.

Thanks a lot.
Aurélien

Bug#659336: ecasound: build fails due to some missing files in debian/python-ecasound/

2012-02-10 Thread Aurélien Roux
Package: ecasound

Dear Maintainer,

When trying to build an ecasound debian package from source, it fails due to
some missing files in debian/python-ecasound, which is actually empty.
When looking at the dependencies, in SID, it seems like python-ecasound depends
on ecasound which depends on python-ecasound. Don't know if that's linked,
though.
