Bug#596801: linux-image-2.6.32-bpo.5-686: keyboard touchpad io breaks when netbook LED switches on or off
Package: linux-2.6 Version: 2.6.32-20~bpo50+1 Severity: important There are 4 LEDs on the left side below the keyboard, 3 of which I can control so they don't switch on or off: wifi (WLAN), caps lock, num lock. The fourth one lights up when the battery is being charged and is switched off when the charge is complete. When an LED lights up or is switched off, all keyboard and touchpad input, including the separate power button above the keyboard) becomes impossible. Everything else is unaffected, so the system can be shut down via ssh, bash and halt. But at the end of the shutdown process it will not power off, the power LED at the power button remains lit and the other LEDs stay as they were. The computer still will not react to any input. The only way to restart it is to remove both power sources: the mains transformer as well as the battery. When power is resored, the computer will boot if the power button is pressed, but the wifi (WLAN) LED will be off even though it usually comes back on if it was on on shutdown. The num lock and caps lock LEDs will light up erratically a few times, then the system will boot normally. (So it is advisable to turn the wifi LED on immediatly, so input won't be broken again.) It seems that the kernel's reaction to an LED state change causes the input circuits to freeze, possibly by giving them some kind of wrong order. There is a tendency for this to happen more markedly when someone is logged in (gdm), but it (obviously) affects the command lines (F1 to F6) as well as they become inaccessible. -- Package-specific info: ** Version: Linux version 2.6.32-bpo.5-686 (Debian 2.6.32-20~bpo50+1) (norb...@tretkowski.de) (gcc version 4.3.2 (Debian 4.3.2-1.1) ) #1 SMP Fri Aug 27 11:29:42 UTC 2010 ** Command line: root=UUID=09082eff-df48-46ee-aab2-4fa9cb52e2d8 ro ** Not tainted ** Kernel log: [9.876029] sd 4:0:0:1: [sdc] Attached SCSI removable disk [ 10.404067] cfg80211: Using static regulatory domain info [ 10.404156] cfg80211: Regulatory domain: US [ 10.404233] (start_freq - end_freq @ bandwidth), (max_antenna_gain, max_eirp) [ 10.404339] (2402000 KHz - 2472000 KHz @ 4 KHz), (600 mBi, 2700 mBm) [ 10.404425] (517 KHz - 519 KHz @ 4 KHz), (600 mBi, 2300 mBm) [ 10.404512] (519 KHz - 521 KHz @ 4 KHz), (600 mBi, 2300 mBm) [ 10.404599] (521 KHz - 523 KHz @ 4 KHz), (600 mBi, 2300 mBm) [ 10.404686] (523 KHz - 533 KHz @ 4 KHz), (600 mBi, 2300 mBm) [ 10.404773] (5735000 KHz - 5835000 KHz @ 4 KHz), (600 mBi, 3000 mBm) [ 10.404875] cfg80211: Calling CRDA for country: US [ 10.485087] intel_rng: FWH not detected [ 11.177115] input: Sleep Button as /devices/LNXSYSTM:00/LNXSYBUS:00/PNP0C0E:00/input/input2 [ 11.177377] ACPI: Sleep Button [SLPB] [ 11.177667] input: Power Button as /devices/LNXSYSTM:00/LNXSYBUS:00/PNP0C0C:00/input/input3 [ 11.177897] ACPI: Power Button [PWRB] [ 11.178197] input: Lid Switch as /devices/LNXSYSTM:00/LNXSYBUS:00/PNP0C0D:00/input/input4 [ 11.178541] ACPI: Lid Switch [LID] [ 11.178831] input: Power Button as /devices/LNXSYSTM:00/LNXPWRBN:00/input/input5 [ 11.179068] ACPI: Power Button [PWRF] [ 11.377674] ath9k :02:00.0: PCI INT A - GSI 17 (level, low) - IRQ 17 [ 11.377886] ath9k :02:00.0: setting latency timer to 64 [ 11.428504] ath: EEPROM regdomain: 0x65 [ 11.428512] ath: EEPROM indicates we should expect a direct regpair map [ 11.428524] ath: Country alpha2 being used: 00 [ 11.428530] ath: Regpair used: 0x65 [ 11.538472] ACPI: SSDT 7f7ce190 0029A (v01 PmRef Cpu0Ist 3000 INTL 20051117) [ 11.539822] ACPI: SSDT 7f7ce4c0 00594 (v01 PmRef Cpu0Cst 3001 INTL 20051117) [ 11.553113] i801_smbus :00:1f.3: PCI INT B - GSI 19 (level, low) - IRQ 19 [ 11.620046] Monitor-Mwait will be used to enter C-1 state [ 11.652020] Monitor-Mwait will be used to enter C-2 state [ 11.673157] Linux video capture interface: v2.00 [ 11.700051] Monitor-Mwait will be used to enter C-3 state [ 11.700827] Marking TSC unstable due to TSC halts in idle [ 11.701230] processor LNXCPU:00: registered as cooling_device0 [ 11.702331] ACPI: SSDT 7f7ce0c0 000CC (v01 PmRef Cpu1Ist 3000 INTL 20051117) [ 11.703223] ACPI: SSDT 7f7ce430 00085 (v01 PmRef Cpu1Cst 3000 INTL 20051117) [ 11.741109] Switching to clocksource hpet [ 11.793303] processor LNXCPU:01: registered as cooling_device1 [ 11.888759] uvcvideo: Found UVC 1.00 device USB 2.0 PC Camera (18e3:9508) [ 11.909855] input: USB 2.0 PC Camera as /devices/pci:00/:00:1d.7/usb3/3-2/3-2:1.0/input/input6 [ 11.910113] usbcore: registered new interface driver uvcvideo [ 11.910199] USB Video Class driver (v0.1.0) [ 14.214470] ACPI: AC Adapter [AC] (on-line) [ 14.239018] ACPI: Battery Slot [BAT1] (battery present) [ 14.424673] input: Video Bus as /devices/LNXSYSTM:00/LNXSYBUS:00/PNP0A08:00/LNXVIDEO:00/input/input7 [ 14.424919] ACPI:

Configuration should include: - a buffer of configurable length so that if 'record' is pressed, the previous 10 seconds or so are included in the recording - the name of the file dumped should be configurable to contain the stream designation and the start and end time of the recording as well as possible ICY tags BTW, I am using a script to listen to streams; I enclose it if anyone is interested: - the URL is first searched until a stream URL is found (using 'wget') - some streams are interrupted from time to time; the script then restarts the player example: http://radio3.cbc.ca/nmcradio/webradio.m3u = http://shoutcast1.cbcradio3.com/ ICY Info: StreamTitle='Jerry Leger - Warning Sirens';StreamUrl='http://www.cbcradio3.com/'; (the latter is adapted to whatever is playing) - the window title reflects what's going on - audible signals mark the script's progress while looking for the correct URL and while restarting the player (so you know what's happening without looking at the screen) -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0.1 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.29.1 (SMP w/1 CPU core; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages mplayer depends on: ii debconf [debconf 1.5.24 Debian configuration management sy ii libasound2 1.0.16-2ALSA library ii libatk1.0-0 1.22.0-1The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libaudiofile00.2.6-7 Open-source version of SGI's audio ii libavcodec51 0.svn20080206-17+lenny1 ffmpeg codec library ii libavformat520.svn20080206-17+lenny1 ffmpeg file format library ii libavutil49 0.svn20080206-17+lenny1 ffmpeg utility library ii libc62.7-18 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcaca0 0.99.beta14-1 colour ASCII art library ii libcairo21.6.4-7 The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libcdparanoia0 3.10.2+debian-5 audio extraction tool for sampling ii libcucul00.99.beta14-1 low-level Unicode character drawin ii libdirectfb-1.0- 1.0.1-11direct frame buffer graphics - sha ii libesd-alsa0 [li 0.2.36-3Enlightened Sound Daemon (ALSA) - ii libfaad0 2.6.1-3.1 freeware Advanced Audio Decoder - ii libfontconfig1 2.6.0-3 generic font configuration library ii libfreetype6 2.3.7-2+lenny1 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libfribidi0 0.10.9-1Free Implementation of the Unicode ii libgcc1 1:4.3.2-1.1 GCC support library ii libgif4 4.1.6-6 library for GIF images (library) ii libgl1-mesa-glx 7.0.3-7 A free implementation of the OpenG ii libglib2.0-0 2.16.6-1+lenny1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.12.12-1~lenny1The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libjack0 0.109.2-5 JACK Audio Connection Kit (librari ii libjpeg626b-14 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii liblircclient0 0.8.3-3 infra-red remote control support - ii liblzo2-22.03-1 data compression library ii libmpcdec3 1.2.2-1.1 Musepack (MPC) format library ii libncurses5 5.7+20081213-1 shared libraries for terminal hand ii libogg0 1.1.3-4 Ogg Bitstream Library ii libopenal1 1:1.4.272-2 Software implementation of the Ope ii libpango1.0-01.20.5-3Layout and rendering of internatio ii libpng12-0 1.2.27-2+lenny2 PNG library - runtime ii libpostproc510.svn20080206-17+lenny1 ffmpeg video postprocessing librar ii libsdl1.2debian 1.2.13-2Simple DirectMedia Layer ii libsmbclient 2:3.2.5-4lenny2 shared library that allows applica ii libspeex11.2~rc1-1 The Speex codec runtime library ii libstdc++6 4.3.2-1.1 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libsvga1 1:1.4.3-27 console SVGA display libraries ii libswscale0 0.svn20080206-17+lenny1 ffmpeg video scaling library ii libtheora0 1.0~beta3-1 The Theora Video Compression Codec ii libx11-6 2:1.1.5-2 X11 client-side library ii libxext6 2:1.0.4-1 X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii libxinerama1 2:1.0.3-2 X11 Xinerama extension library ii libxv1 2:1.0.4-1 X11 Video extension library ii libxvmc1 1:1.0.4-2 X11 Video extension library ii

Bug#518092: mplayer: SDL driver running on the 1st head in a dual-head setup causes image disruption on the 2nd head
Package: mplayer Version: 1.0~rc2-17+lenny3 Severity: normal The image is displayed without problems due to the acceleration being available on the first head but some of the frames get displayed on the second head in the same resolution so that the video can be seen there, too, albeit only in a flickering way. This way, of course, it is not possible to use the display on the second head because it is constantly disrupted. BTW (another bug), this video driver makes the mouse pointer disappear on both heads in fullscreen mode, even the option -nograbpointer does not change that. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.24.4 (SMP w/1 CPU core; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages mplayer depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.24Debian configuration management sy ii libasound2 1.0.16-2 ALSA library ii libatk1.0-01.22.0-1 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libaudiofile0 0.2.6-7 Open-source version of SGI's audio ii libavcodec51 0.svn20080206-17 ffmpeg codec library ii libavformat52 0.svn20080206-17 ffmpeg file format library ii libavutil490.svn20080206-17 ffmpeg utility library ii libc6 2.7-18GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcaca0 0.99.beta14-1 colour ASCII art library ii libcairo2 1.6.4-7 The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libcdparanoia0 3.10.2+debian-5 audio extraction tool for sampling ii libcucul0 0.99.beta14-1 low-level Unicode character drawin ii libdirectfb-1.0-0 1.0.1-11 direct frame buffer graphics - sha ii libesd-alsa0 [libesd0] 0.2.36-3 Enlightened Sound Daemon (ALSA) - ii libfaad0 2.6.1-3.1 freeware Advanced Audio Decoder - ii libfontconfig1 2.6.0-3 generic font configuration library ii libfreetype6 2.3.7-2 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libfribidi00.10.9-1 Free Implementation of the Unicode ii libgcc11:4.3.2-1.1 GCC support library ii libgif44.1.6-6 library for GIF images (library) ii libgl1-mesa-glx [libgl 7.0.3-7 A free implementation of the OpenG ii libglib2.0-0 2.16.6-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-02.12.11-4 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libjack0 0.109.2-5 JACK Audio Connection Kit (librari ii libjpeg62 6b-14 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii liblircclient0 0.8.3-3 infra-red remote control support - ii liblzo2-2 2.03-1data compression library ii libmpcdec3 1.2.2-1.1 Musepack (MPC) format library ii libncurses55.7+20081213-1shared libraries for terminal hand ii libogg01.1.3-4 Ogg Bitstream Library ii libopenal1 1:1.4.272-2 Software implementation of the Ope ii libpango1.0-0 1.20.5-3 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libpng12-0 1.2.27-2 PNG library - runtime ii libpostproc51 0.svn20080206-17 ffmpeg video postprocessing librar ii libsdl1.2debian1.2.13-2 Simple DirectMedia Layer ii libsmbclient 2:3.2.5-4 shared library that allows applica ii libspeex1 1.2~rc1-1 The Speex codec runtime library ii libstdc++6 4.3.2-1.1 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libsvga1 1:1.4.3-27console SVGA display libraries ii libswscale00.svn20080206-17 ffmpeg video scaling library ii libtheora0 1.0~beta3-1 The Theora Video Compression Codec ii libx11-6 2:1.1.5-2 X11 client-side library ii libxext6 2:1.0.4-1 X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii libxinerama1 2:1.0.3-2 X11 Xinerama extension library ii libxv1 2:1.0.4-1 X11 Video extension library ii libxvmc1 1:1.0.4-2 X11 Video extension library ii libxxf86dga1 2:1.0.2-1 X11 Direct Graphics Access extensi ii libxxf86vm11:1.0.2-1 X11 XFree86 video mode extension l ii mplayer-skin-blue [mpl 1.6-2 blue skin for mplayer ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-12 compression library - runtime mplayer recommends no packages. Bug#516645: gnumeric: Some functions not working anymore
Package: gnumeric Version: 1.8.3-5+lenny1 Severity: normal The following formula used to calculate a more or less arbitrary number which gave me a hint which students of mine I had neglected (i.e. not graded) for a while. I enter my grades in columns for every student (= row) with the latest being on the left (i.e. I create a new column so that the older ones move to the right). =if(Total!$A12=,,round((15.5-D12)*(match(FALSE,if(G12:DP12=),0)-0.5))) At the heart of the formula is MATCH, which I need to find out how many columns are blank in a given row before the last grade can be found, i.e. for how many lessons I have failed to grade this student. Note that the formula depends on IF returning a range if used on a range. The resulting range of FALSE and TRUE is then searched using MATCH. A simpler way would be this similar formula: =match(FALSE,isblank(H14:R14),0) Now, with the upgrade from Debian Etch to Lenny, both of these formulae only return #N/A. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.24.4 (SMP w/1 CPU core; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages gnumeric depends on: ii debconf [debc 1.5.24 Debian configuration management sy ii gconf22.22.0-1 GNOME configuration database syste ii gnumeric-comm 1.8.3-5+lenny1 spreadsheet application for GNOME ii gsfonts 1:8.11+urwcyr1.0.7~pre44-3 Fonts for the Ghostscript interpre ii libatk1.0-0 1.22.0-1 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libbonobo2-0 2.22.0-1 Bonobo CORBA interfaces library ii libbonoboui2- 2.22.0-1 The Bonobo UI library ii libc6 2.7-18 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcairo2 1.6.4-7The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libgconf2-4 2.22.0-1 GNOME configuration database syste ii libglade2-0 1:2.6.2-1 library to load .glade files at ru ii libglib2.0-0 2.16.6-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgnome2-0 2.20.1.1-1 The GNOME 2 library - runtime file ii libgnomeui-0 2.20.1.1-2 The GNOME 2 libraries (User Interf ii libgnomevfs2- 1:2.22.0-5 GNOME Virtual File System (runtime ii libgoffice-0- 0.6.3-1Document centric objects library - ii libgsf-1-114 1.14.8-1lenny2 Structured File Library - runtime ii libgtk2.0-0 2.12.11-4 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libpango1.0-0 1.20.5-3 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libxml2 2.6.32.dfsg-5 GNOME XML library ii procps1:3.2.7-11 /proc file system utilities ii zlib1g1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-12 compression library - runtime Versions of packages gnumeric recommends: ii evince 2.22.2-4~lenny1 Document (postscript, pdf) viewer Versions of packages gnumeric suggests: pn epiphany-browser none (no description available) ii gnumeric-doc 1.8.3-5+lenny1 spreadsheet application for GNOME ii gnumeric-plugins-extra1.8.3-5+lenny1 spreadsheet application for GNOME ii ttf-liberation1.04.93-1 Free fonts with the same metrics a -- debconf-show failed -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#503931: alpine: beeps for ages when losing connection
Package: alpine Version: 0.99+dfsg-1~bpo40+1 Severity: normal If Alpine is in an incoming mail folder and suddenly cannot access the server anymore, it displays a status message every 15s and asks if the connection should be broken every 60s. Unfortunately this happens rather often with the servers I use. So, if I write a longer reply or just keep Alpine open while doing something else, it often keeps beeping every 60s. So I set Suppress Status Message Beeping but Alpine contnues its awful noise totally unphased. Bug#496313: openoffice.org: File opening dialogue does not always use current file's directory
Package: openoffice.org Version: 2.0.4.dfsg.2-7etch5 Severity: normal The file opening dialogue should always start on the directory of the file currently being edited, so that parallel files can be opened. But it only does that if the current file was opened using this dialogue before. Bug#261414: lyx: Dialogues like Find Replace or Document - Settings do not receive focus
Package: lyx Version: 1.5.4-1~emiscabpo40+1 Followup-For: Bug #261414 These windows only receive the focus if they appear under the mouse pointer by coincidence. If I switch windows they receive the focus but (obviously) my mouse pointer gets moved. Then, when I am done e.g. finding and replacing, I close the window using the Escape key (all this works well), but the my mouse pointer has been moved outside the main Lyx window, so it in turn does not have focus, forcing my to switch back to it manually. Very annoying if you need to use Find Replace or Table Settings etc. more than once, so it is not a nice-to-have feature but an annoying bug which has been around for very long. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 by Linux-Systeme APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.22.1Flora Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages lyx depends on: ii libaiksaurus-1.2- 1.2.1+dev-0.12-3 an English-language thesaurus (dev ii libaspell15 0.60.4-4 GNU Aspell spell-checker runtime l ii libboost-filesyst 1.34.1-2~emiscabpo40+1 filesystem operations (portable pa ii libboost-regex1.3 1.34.1-2~emiscabpo40+1 regular expression library for C++ ii libboost-signals1 1.34.1-2~emiscabpo40+1 managed signals and slots library ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13etch5 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.1.1-21 GCC support library ii libqt4-core 4.2.1-2+etch1 Qt 4 core non-GUI functionality ru ii libqt4-gui4.2.1-2+etch1 Qt 4 core GUI functionality runtim ii libstdc++64.1.1-21 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 2:1.0.3-7 X11 client-side library ii lyx-common1.5.4-1~emiscabpo40+1 Architecture-independent files for ii mime-support 3.39-1 MIME files 'mime.types' 'mailcap ii xdg-utils 1.0.1-2Desktop integration utilities from ii zlib1g1:1.2.3-13 compression library - runtime Versions of packages lyx recommends: ii dvipng 1.9-1+etch.1 convert DVI files to PNG graphics ii evince [postscript- 0.4.0-5 Document (postscript, pdf) viewer ii gpdf [pdf-viewer] 2.8.2-1.2sarge5 Portable Document Format (PDF) vie ii gs-afpl [postscript 8.53-0.2 The AFPL Ghostscript PostScript in ii gs-esp [postscript- 8.15.3.dfsg.1-1etch1 The Ghostscript PostScript interpr ii gs-gpl [postscript- 8.54.dfsg.1-5etch1 The GPL Ghostscript PostScript int ii gv [pdf-viewer] 1:3.6.2-3PostScript and PDF viewer for X ii imagemagick 7:6.2.4.5.dfsg1-0.14 Image manipulation programs ii latex-xft-fonts 0.1-5praksys0Xft-compatible versions of some La ii preview-latex-style 11.83-6 LaTeX style files for editor embed ii psutils 1.17-24 A collection of PostScript documen ii tetex-extra 3.0.dfsg.3-5etch1Additional TeX input files of teTe pn texlive-fonts-recom none (no description available) ii texlive-latex-recom 2005.dfsg.3-1TeX Live: LaTeX recommended packag -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#471403: lyx: Insert - Float - Text Wrap Float does not work and is undocumented
Package: lyx Version: 1.4.3-3 Severity: normal Tags: patch The float just does not appear in the output (DVI or PS). This is particularly annoying as this kind of flota is not mentioned in any of the help documents, so you tend to insert many of these floats before you notice something is wrong. Bug#469738: xserver-xorg: Sometimes takes all CPU, interrupts other programs or crashes
Package: xserver-xorg Version: 1:7.1.0-19 Severity: critical Justification: breaks unrelated software I use a two-head setup, and it was very difficult to get Xorg configured. Sometimes an update will make it unusable, so I always back up xorg.conf before each update (this helps). If I have to restart Xorg or XDM, Xorg sometimes shuts down after a while, so I have to shutdown the system and reset it so the video card gets reset. Sometimes unrelated programs like GKRELLM or X Screensaver make Xorg take 90% of the CPU time. This usually happens every 30 minutes, so I have created a script which will kill and restart GKRELLM in such a case. This usually helps. At other times Xorg will take all available CPU time and still just show a blank screen so that the system has to be rebooted. I often get the feeling that the communication with the video card is less than optimal although it is not a newly-released card. Programs like XAWTV complain about missing accelerations although the card has them. Xine and M Player sometimes just show a black window; VLC runs but with high CPU usage and not smoothly, although my video card should actually not require that much CPU use. The automatic start of X Screensaver interrupts everything including communication with the IDE DVD writer so that the writing process fails and the DVD cannot be used. This happens with simple blanking of the screen as well as with regular screensaver plug-ins. I have tried all configuration variations, not only with Xorg but with X Screensaver, VLC and all CD/DVD burning software; nothing seems to help. The video card seems alright, there is enough RAM, I have optimised IDE access... -- Package-specific info: Contents of /var/lib/x11/X.roster: xserver-xorg /etc/X11/X target unchanged from checksum in /var/lib/x11/X.md5sum. Its own activity does not change at that point. -- hardware information: PCI 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation GeForce 7600 GS (rev a2) -- lsmod: Module Size Used by nvidia 7240692 28 ipv6 233956 48 thermal11080 0 fan 3972 0 button 6352 0 processor 15276 1 thermal -- Xorg information: ii libglu1-xorg 7.1.0-19 transitional package for Debian etch ii libglu1-xorg-dev 7.1.0-19 transitional package for Debian etch un xorg-common none (no description available) ii xorg-docs1.2+git20061105-3Miscellaneous documentation for the X.Org software suite un xorg-driver-synapticsnone (no description available) ii xserver-xorg 7.1.0-19 the X.Org X server ii xserver-xorg-core1.1.1-21etch1X.Org X server -- core server un xserver-xorg-driver-r128 none (no description available) un xserver-xorg-driver-radeon none (no description available) un xserver-xorg-input none (no description available) ii xserver-xorg-input-all 7.1.0-19 the X.Org X server -- input driver metapackage ii xserver-xorg-input-evdev 1.1.2-6 X.Org X server -- evdev input driver ii xserver-xorg-input-kbd 1.1.0-4 X.Org X server -- keyboard input driver ii xserver-xorg-input-mouse 1.1.1-3 X.Org X server -- mouse input driver ii xserver-xorg-input-synaptics 0.14.6-1 Synaptics TouchPad driver for X.Org/XFree86 server ii xserver-xorg-input-wacom 0.7.4.1-5X.Org X server -- wacom input driver un xserver-xorg-video none (no description available) un xserver-xorg-video-1.0 none (no description available) ii xserver-xorg-video-all 7.1.0-19 the X.Org X server -- output driver metapackage ii xserver-xorg-video-apm 1.1.1-3 X.Org X server -- APM display driver ii xserver-xorg-video-ark 0.6.0-3 X.Org X server -- ark display driver ii xserver-xorg-video-ati 6.6.3-2 X.Org X server -- ATI display driver un xserver-xorg-video-atimisc none (no description available) ii xserver-xorg-video-chips 1.1.1-4 X.Org X server -- Chips display driver ii xserver-xorg-video-cirrus1.1.0-3 X.Org X server -- Cirrus display driver ii xserver-xorg-video-cyrix 1.1.0-4 X.Org X server -- Cyrix display driver ii xserver-xorg-video-dummy 0.2.0-3 X.Org X server -- dummy display driver ii xserver-xorg-video-fbdev 0.3.1-1 X.Org X server -- fbdev display driver ii xserver-xorg-video-glint 1.1.1-3 X.Org X server -- Glint display driver ii xserver-xorg-video-i128 1.2.0-3 X.Org X server -- i128 display driver ii xserver-xorg-video-i740 1.1.0-3 X.Org X server -- i740 display driver ii xserver-xorg-video-i810 1.7.2-4 X.Org X server -- Intel i8xx, i9xx display driver ii xserver-xorg-video-imstt 1.1.0-3 X.Org X server -- IMSTT display driver ii xserver-xorg-video-mga 1.4.4.dfsg.1-2 X.Org X server -- MGA display driver ii xserver-xorg-video-neomagic 1.1.1-5 X.Org X server -- Neomagic display driver ii xserver-xorg-video-newport 0.2.0-3 X.Org X server -- Newport display driver ii xserver-xorg-video-nsc 2.8.1-3 X.Org X server -- NSC display driver ii xserver-xorg-video-nv1.2.0-3 X.Org X server -- NV display driver ii xserver-xorg-video-rendition 4.1.0.dfsg.1-4 X.Org X server -- Rendition display driver un xserver-xorg-video-riva128 none (no description available) ii xserver-xorg-video-s30.4.1-5 X.Org X server -- legacy S3 display driver ii xserver-xorg-video-s3virge 1.9.1-3 X.Org X server -- S3 ViRGE display driver ii xserver-xorg-video-savage2.1.2-3 X.Org X server -- Savage display driver ii xserver-xorg-video-siliconmo 1.4.1-4 X.Org X server --
Bug#458427: pine: takes ages to just open INBOX on GMX, then soon reports access error
Package: pine Version: 4.64-2 Severity: normal ofne works fine with all different providers except GMX. Bug#458313: lyx: pressing Page Up in a document with unsaved recent changes sometimes crashes Lyx
Package: lyx Version: 1.4.3-3 Severity: normal This usually happens in documents which are not too small (I think). Unfortunately the bug cannot be reproduced reliably --- but it happens rather often nonetheless. Lyx just disappeares completely without warning. If the document had not been used before the session (i.e. had not been used in the penultimate session) it is not even listed under Recent Files and has to be found again (very annoying). Sometimes a recovery is indicated, but that is the end of it. Everything works perfectly after that --- until it happens again.
