Bug#592719: Udisks patch for floppy drives
Here's a patch that makes floppies work correctly in Gnome and many other places (latest version of source code for Wheezy from apt-get source). I still have a floppy, this compiles and works well where the floppies do not work in the default version. I've also attached a diff file. --- udisks-1.0.2/src/device.c2011-03-23 10:18:23.0 -0600 +++ udisks-1.0.2.patched/src/device.c2011-03-23 10:23:03.0 -0600 @@ -4486,7 +4486,8 @@ } else { - if (g_udev_device_get_property_as_boolean (device-priv-d, ID_CDROM_MEDIA)) + if (g_udev_device_get_property_as_boolean (device-priv-d, ID_CDROM_MEDIA) || + g_udev_device_get_property_as_boolean (device-priv-d, ID_DRIVE_FLOPPY)) { media_available = TRUE; } -- BH Random quotation: Just remember: when you go to court, you are trusting your fate to twelve people that weren't smart enough to get out of jury duty! --- udisks-1.0.2/src/device.c 2011-03-23 10:18:23.0 -0600 +++ udisks-1.0.2.patched/src/device.c 2011-03-23 10:23:03.0 -0600 @@ -4486,7 +4486,8 @@ } else { - if (g_udev_device_get_property_as_boolean (device-priv-d, ID_CDROM_MEDIA)) + if (g_udev_device_get_property_as_boolean (device-priv-d, ID_CDROM_MEDIA) || + g_udev_device_get_property_as_boolean (device-priv-d, ID_DRIVE_FLOPPY)) { media_available = TRUE; }
Bug#552365: This bug should be reopened.
In the sid repositories, the fixed version (2.29) of epiphany-extensions-more depends on epiphany-extensions = 2.29 and 2.30; however, the only version of epiphany-extensions in sid is version 2.30 and the only version of epiphany-extensions in squeeze is 2.28. Thus, this fixed package still depends on a version of epiphany-extensions that is not available in the repositories, making epiphany-extensions-more version 2.29 just as uninstallable as epiphany-extensions-more version 2.26, and for the exact same reason--it depends on a non-available version of epiphany-extensions. -- BH Random quotation: Philogyny recapitulates erogeny; erogeny recapitulates philogyny. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe.
