Bug#399425: greed: all users haven't rights on /var/games/greed/greed.hs

2006-11-19 Thread Bernard Adrian
Package: greed
Version: 3.4-2
Severity: normal
Hi,

There are two normal users on my system. After installing Greed, i
had to chmod /var/games/greed/greed.hs : the second user, belonging to
the games group, can't access to this file. The owner of the file is
the first user (I assume it's normal), but the rights were :
-rw--- as they should be, on my mind : -rw-rw

Maybe the cause is i ran aptitude as one of the normal user and then
became root, in order to download the greed debian package ?

But as far as i know, it's a correct way to run aptitude ?

Thanks for having build this package. I became addict in a few
minutes...

Bug#397667: uswsusp: No (existing and mounted) swap partition found

2006-11-13 Thread Bernard Adrian
Tim Dijkstra [EMAIL PROTECTED] a écrit :

Hmm, that is the problem. /bin/mountpoint is in the initscripts package
which has priority 'required'. Apparently you're using an alternate way
 to boot your system...

For my first steps in the free world, two years ago, i installed
Knoppix on this HD. So i have neither initscripts nor mount packages
but mount-aes.

I worry, if i try to replace mount-aes by initscripts and mount
to make my system unbootable... It's my main machine.

Bug#397667: uswsusp: No (existing and mounted) swap partition found

2006-11-08 Thread Bernard Adrian
Package: uswsusp
Version: 0.3~cvs20060928-2
Severity: normal

Hi,

I can't configure uswsusp : debconf says No swap partition found,
userspace software suspend will not work. However, there is a running
swap on my system.

Maybe, my swap is not big enough :

,[ free ]
| total used free sharedbuffers cached
| Mem: 54152 46016 8136 0 1060 17504
| -/+ buffers/cache: 27452 26700
| Swap: 136512 5420 131092
`

I tried after rebooting, and also with a totally-free swap. Same
result. If the cause is the tall of the swap, maybe it would be
convenient to tell what is the minimal tall of a swap for uswsusp.

Bug#396965: texlive-latex-extra: curve needs ltxtable to work

2006-11-03 Thread Bernard Adrian
Package: texlive-latex-extra
Version: 2005.dfsg.2-2
Severity: normal
Hi,

Curve, which belongs to this package, can't work. It requires ltxtable.sty
(of David Carlisle). Since some contribs of D. Carlisle are in
texlive-latex-base, maybe it would be convenient to add ltxtable.sty
in that package ? Otherwise, it would be necessary, imho, to add it in
texlive-latex-extra.

Thanks,

Bug#364404: lifelines: new fr.po (proposal)

2006-04-23 Thread Bernard Adrian
Package: lifelines
Version: 3.0.50-2
Severity: normal

Hi,

Some strings are not translated in fr.po for lifelines and the bug
(#356671) i reported last month is still present.

So i propose (in attachment) a new fr.po for lifelines based on
Patrick Texier's one (updated last January). I've just applied the
patch i proposed last month for the bug (#356671). This patch is in
attachment too.

I tested my lifelines.po on my system and it works fine.

One can workaround the problem either by

On my system mm-inline-text-html-with-w3m-keymap is t by default (not
