Bug#1059012: recording lost/overwritten when reconnecting to stream
Package: darkice Version: 1.3-0.3+b1 Severity: important Darkice maintainers don't work down bug reports and submitted patches obviously. So it would be cool if Debian would add some patches to the darkice package. This one here is an annoying bug since years alredy: Recording lost/overwritten when reconnecting to stream when sending SIGUSR1 to darkice. See https://github.com/rafael2k/darkice/issues/141 for a bug report with attached patch also.
Bug#971630: severe memory issue in gnutls
Package: imagemagick-6.q16 Version: 8:6.9.10.23+dfsg-2.1+deb10u1 Severity: important using "convert" to convert to pdf (and possible also other formats) is not allowed due to policy restriction: convert test.jpeg test.pdf convert-im6.q16: attempt to perform an operation not allowed by the security policy `PDF' @ error/constitute.c/IsCoderAuthorized/408.
Bug#962467: severe memory issue in gnutls
Package: gnutls30 there's a memory leak in gnutls in conjunction with AES CCM mode. For details see also https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14399 https://gitlab.com/gnutls/gnutls/-/merge_requests/1277 please ship that fix from https://gitlab.com/gnutls/gnutls/-/merge_requests/1278 please ship this fix as soon as possible
Bug#799143: ping
is the maintainer of this package still alive? Would it be possible that someone else takes this over? Stretch is almost ready and at least for stretch this could easily have been fixed. It makes little sense to report bugs to Debian packages and even point to the solution if all this ends up in /dev/null.
Bug#799143: a fix is upstream
a fix for this is upstream already, see https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5324 can you please add this fix to jessie and testing, please?
Bug#359848: not a spell checker issue
this might be a problem of the grammar checker languagetool but the current version of it seems to do that right. You can test it on https://www.languagetool.org/ This bug should be moved to the right package or be closed if languagetool should not see a version update.
Bug#838545: apt not showing any package update if just one repo is not valid
Package: apt Version: 1.0.9.8.3 when there are invalid or expired apt repositories configured, ALL other apt repos will not be updated. In my case: CRON-APT LINE: /usr/bin/apt-get -o quiet=1 update -o quiet=2 E: Release file for http://ftp.uni-koeln.de/debian/dists/jessie-backports/InRelease is expired (invalid since 8d 18h 50min 50s). Updates for this repository will not be applied That message implies, that updates for this repository will not be applied (but others will!) But no packages are installed. Disabling the expired repository makes "apt-get dist-upgrade" install all the outstanding packages that have been release in the last 8 days (since the mentioned repo expired). Enabling the repo again hides all the outstanding updates right away.
Bug#795591: gnutls ocsp bug causes fallback to plain unencrypted connections
Package: gnutls28 Version: 3.3.8-6+deb8u2 gnutls sends ocsp certificate status even if the client didn't request that. This leads to TLS connections to OCSP enabled exim versions to either 1) fail completely (like for gmail trying to deliver mail to exim) or 2) the other side fall back to unencrypted smtp connections Given that, I consider this a serious bug that should be fixed in Jessie. the patch 45_As-server-don-t-try-to-send-extensions-we-didn-t-rec.patch that was in the 3.3.16 sid gnutls package should be applied to the Jessie version also.
Bug#767016: sssd and cron dependencies
the start up dependency is really trivial to fix. And this is a major problem for enterprise setups who usually have a AD or other LDAP directory to conenct to. No working cron there. Can the maintainer of the cron package please add the right dependecy? Later on this should definetely get fixed in anacron becuase also with nss_ldap this proplem strikes back simpy if the LDAP server is not availbale at one moment where anacron is looking up a user. Permanently ignoring cron jobs of (temporary) non-existing users is just plain broken. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble?
