Bug#846409: xserver-xorg-video-r128: Bug #602531 G4 with r128 crashes after installation without linux-firmware-nonfree package

2016-11-30 Thread Brock Wittrock
Package: xserver-xorg-video-r128
Version: 6.9.2-1+b2
Severity: important
Tags: upstream

Just want to note that I have a couple of G4 PowerMacs (Quicksilvers, so not
the Cube model) with Rage 128 cards I could test this out on with a fresh
install of Jessie. I seem to remember this still being an issue though when I
first installed Jessie on a G4 system I still use daily. I had to do something
similar of ssh'ing into the system and installing the linux-firmware-nonfree
package before I had a usable desktop.

I'll do the install tomorrow and report back unless I hear otherwise.

Bug#777498: remmina: RDP Window has blue tint on PPC32 system. Appears to be an endianness problem.

2015-11-12 Thread Brock Wittrock
Package: remmina
Version: 1.1.2-3
Followup-For: Bug #777498

Dear Maintainer,

I just checked this using the latest version of Remmina available in Stretch
and the bug is still present. I tried each of the different color depths with
the same result of the blue tint to everything. Let me know if you need any
other information.

Thanks,
B-rock
