Thus, I consider this issue as fixed ;-) Am 02.08.2018 um 12:51 schrieb Gianfranco Costamagna: control: tags -1 moreinfo Hello, on my workstation (Debian Testing) I sometimes use boincmgr, but after an upgrade a few weeks(?) ago, boincmgr does no longer start. I cannot recall the exact upgrade number as I do not use boincmgr regularily, but for now it does not properly start: what does the apt log shows? did you upgrade virtualbox? are you using the home directory? now boinc forbids home directory usage, because of security, so this might be the reason maybe removing "ProtectHome=true" from boinc-client.service makes it work? In case this is a showstopper. that would be great :) I tried to package the JIDE Common Layer, but as the source package of JIDE only contains code, no build/make I was not able to build that thing on Linux. Additionally, the JIDE authors state on their website that the code is dual-licensed GPL, but this is reflected nowhere in the code. Bug#494825: Generating locales failes
Package: locales Version: 2.7-10 Severity: important Tags: l10n I had some ugly Perl warnings and tried to regenerate locales to get rid of this warnings. But this reproducably failes with: Generating locales (this may take a while)... de_DE.UTF-8...Hangup Then the SSH-Sessions is unusable whereas the system as a whole is unaffected. The syslog says that the kernel killed process due to lack of memory. Phys. Memory: 32 MiB Swap: ~280 MiB I found someone who had a similar problem: http://osdir.com/ml/debian.ports.arm/2006-03/msg2.html Reinstalling locales produces the same result. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: arm (armv5tel) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-6-ixp4xx Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages locales depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.22 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 [glibc-2.7-1] 2.7-10 GNU C Library: Shared libraries locales recommends no packages. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
