Bug#765765: deluge: Deluge clients cannot connect to deluged because of SSL error

2014-10-17 Thread Christopher Culver
Package: deluge
Version: 1.3.10-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

In the deluge 1.3.10-1 package, deluged will start without problems. However,
the GTK+ client and the console client cannot connect (the GTK+ client cannot
even see that a daemon is running).

Running deluged with arguments to provide verbose output (deluged -d -L info)
reveals an SSL handshake error every time a client tries to connect to it:

[INFO] 00:00:51 rpcserver:203 Deluge Client connection made from:
127.0.0.1:39105
[INFO] 00:00:51 rpcserver:223 Deluge client disconnected: [('SSL routines',
'SSL3_READ_BYTES', 'ssl handshake failure')]
[INFO] 00:00:53 rpcserver:203 Deluge Client connection made from:
127.0.0.1:39106
[INFO] 00:00:53 rpcserver:223 Deluge client disconnected: [('SSL routines',
'SSL3_READ_BYTES', 'ssl handshake failure')]
