Unfortunately, a plain rsync is not sufficient to mirror Debian
correctly and provide apt and other clients with a good chance that it
will find a consistent mirror, nor does it help downstream mirrors to
also obtain a consistent mirror.

As such, plain rsync are not something we recommend people run or offer.

your mirror *is* out of date.

Your upstream however, is current.

Hi,

according to our monitoring [1], your mirror hasn't updated in several
days. Please investigate.

Also,
o The trace file at

http://mirror.math.princeton.edu/pub/debian/project/trace/mirror.math.princeton.edu
  does not contain much information.

Please use our ftpsync script to mirror Debian.

Using a modern ftpsync ensures updates are done in the correct order
so apt clients don't get confused. In particular, it processes
translations, contents, and more files that have been added to the
archive in recent years in the correct stage. It also should produce
trace files that contain more information that is useful for us.

Cheers,
Peter
